Universal Pictures recently released the first trailer for the upcoming sequel Jurassic World Dominion, which is due to premiere in theaters later this year. However, before the film's release, fans are sure to want to get their hands on this new LEGO set, which recreates one of the most memorable scenes from the original Jurassic Park.

The T-Rex Paddock attack is easily one of the most memorable scenes from director Steven Spielberg's original 1993 film. At around the halfway point of the film, Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) are trapped in their automated Ford Explorer after a storm knocks out the power on the island. Along with the two scientists are the grandchildren of Jurassic Park founder Jon Hammond (Richard Attenborough), who are trapped in their own vehicle.

The new 1,212 piece-set, revealed exclusively by IGN, recreates that scene with a posable T-Rex, two Ford Explorers, and a smashed electric fence. It also includes mini-figures of characters Alan Grant, Ian Malcolm, Tim Murphy, and Lex Murphy, along with some LEGO-styled night vision goggles, a flare, and two tiny water cups. The set, which will be available on April 17th for $99.99, is available for pre-order at the LEGO Store and Target.

In the scene from the film, things escalate when the enormous T-Rex breaks out of its cage and attacks the children's car, flipping it over and scaring the hell out of them. It's only through the bravery and quick thinking of Dr. Grant and Malcolm that these kids are saved after they light up some flares to distract the prehistoric beast. The scene features several memorable moments, including the famous water glass ripple effect created by the massive footsteps of the T-Rex and the inclusion of the theory that the T-Rex's vision is based on movement. It's also the first time in the movie that the audience gets to really see, and hear, the infamous T-Rex in all its terrifying glory.

The original Jurassic Park remains one of the most influential films of all time. Adapted from Jurassic Park book, the film has spawned several sequels, including the upcoming Jurassic World Dominion. For the first time since the original film, Jurassic World Dominion will feature all three original cast members together on screen. The new trailer featured Neill and Goldblum reprising their roles from the original film, along with actress Laura Dern, who portrayed Dr. Ellie Sattler in Jurassic Park. Goldblum reprised his role in the film's first sequel, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, the only other film in the franchise to be directed by Spielberg. He also made a small cameo appearance in 2018's Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the second film in the Jurassic World trilogy.

Neill and Dern both reprised their roles in the third film of the franchise, Jurassic Park III, but all three actors have not appeared together at the same time in the franchise since the original film. Similar to other franchise reboots like Star Wars: The Force Awakens or the recently released The Matrix Resurrections, Jurassic World Dominion seems to be banking on the audience's nostalgia for the original film by bringing back legacy characters. If this new LEGO set is any indication, clearly the original film still holds a lot of weight for the franchise.

Jurassic World Dominion will be released in theaters on June 17th, 2022.
