Over the years, fans have seen quite a lot of powerful families leave their mark in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, however, not all of them are held in equal regard. While some possess more fame, others have given rise to stronger sorcerers, and some others still remain shrouded in mystery.

These prominent families have produced quite a lot of excellent jujutsu sorcerers, some of which are at the forefront of things even today, in the Culling Game arc. While this list already goes over the strongest families in the world of JJK, it has now seen the addition of the strongest individuals of each family. As such, fans can now get a proper look at their most significant members and how they shape the Jujutsu society as a whole. With that, this list has now been updated.

5 Inumaki Family

Among the known families, the Inumaki Family appears to be the weakest of the lot, however, they are still powerful in their own right. These sorcerers are incredibly impressive and make use of Cursed Speech. Members of this family have snake eyes and fangs sigil across their mouths. Fans have already witnessed one of their members, Toge Inumaki, make use of his powers already in the series.

Cursed Speech is an incredibly powerful tool to use in combat, however, it also strains the body quite a lot. Toge Inumaki is known to be a very skilled sorcerer, however, he still has ways to go. Fans have not, unfortunately, seen any other significant members of this family engage in any major fights. That said, the fact that they are very well known in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen is proof that they are a very powerful as well as influential family.

Strongest Member: Toge Inumaki

Toge Inumaki is quite a capable member of the Inumaki family and the only one that fans see often in the story. Sadly, fans do not know much about the Inumaki Family at all. However, they do know that Toge is a skilled user of cursed speech. He has come in clutch for his team on many occasions, especially in JJK0.

Sadly, he has been cut out of the story as of late and joins the list of one of the many characters whom Gege simply wrote out of his story, for one reason or another. The future of the Inumaki Family doesn't look all that bright, given how the story is going, however, hopefully, that will change in the future.

4 Fujiwara Family

When it comes to the powerful families in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, the Fujiwara Family is one that fans know very little about. This family is not prominent anymore, however, it thrived during the Golden Age of Sorcery around a thousand years ago. This family was also known as Toh, and the ranks were filled with elite Jujutsu Sorcerers. It is believed that their forces included two elite squadrons and they were comprised of the Sun, Moon, and Stars Squad, making up the Northern Fujiwara forces.

They certainly were powerful, however, not in the way that fans expect a mighty clan to be. Instead, they specialized in assassination and working in the shadows.

These JJK characters were neglected by Gege and deserve more attention.

They abandoned their names and worked towards their goals from the shadows, pulling the strings from behind the scenes. The only person in this family to ever have a name was Takako Uro, however, he was, sadly, framed and then sentenced to death for the murder of another member of the clan. The entire history of the Fujiwara Family is not quite clear yet, and fans can only hope that in the future, more light is thrown at them.

Strongest Member: Takako Uro

Takako Uro is quite active in the Culling Game arc and fans have seen her being reincarnated with all her strengths being retained. Fans properly got a look at her incredible abilities in the Culling Game arc and she showcased tremendous might. She is seen as a hot-blooded woman who is quite intimidating to others around him and her powers are certainly there to show for it.

She has the ability of Sky Manipulation, which allows her to manipulate the sky as if it were a tangible surface. She has used her cursed technique incredibly amazingly in the Culling Game arc and that makes her one of the strongest players from the Ancient Sorcerers. At the same time, fans have also seen Uro utilize her Domain Expansion, which just goes to show that her cursed energy control is absolutely immense. As a member of the Fujiwara Family, she really just stands out and shows how immense this clan of assassins was.

3 Kamo Family

One of the most intriguing families in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen is, undoubtedly, the Kamo Family. This family is known to be composed of very conservative people and, when it comes to the Jujutsu Society, they are the most conservative of all, believed to be incredibly orthodox and set in their ways. They are also known to be incredibly close with those in Jujutsu HQ. Like a typical conservative family, they place an incredible amount of value on bloodlines as well as tradition.

Anything other than that goes against their very beliefs and, thus, is unsightly to them. While they are one of the Three Big Families in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, they have been disgraced in the past and, thus, carry a big stain, all thanks to Noritoshi Kamo. This clan birthed the most evil Jujutsu Sorcerer of all time and he was expelled from the family later on. However, his evil acts still reverberate through history to this day.

Strongest Member: Noritoshi Kamo

Fans do not know much about too many members of the Kamo Family, as mentioned above, however, when speaking of the strongest, Noritoshi Kamo, the original, comes to mind. This person was evil through and through and he conducted several evil experiments. This was likely under the influence of Kenjaku, who was occupying his body at the time.

Regardless, he was the one who was calling the shots and made the reputation of Noritoshi as bad as it is today. The current Noritoshi Kamo is also quite powerful and has the ability of Blood Manipulation, which would also have been in the possession of the old one. Both of them are quite skilled, and it is believed that under Kenjaku, the old Noritoshi would have been more dangerous.

2 Zenin Family

The Zenin family is one of the most influential families in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen and also among the Big Three Families in the series. This clan is archaic in their beliefs and values only strength above everything else. Those at the top of this clan are blinded with power and they only respect those who are incredibly talented in the ways of Jujutsu Sorcery. That said, this clan is easily one of the very strongest seen in the entire series.

Fans have seen several powerful fighters emerge from their ranks and this goes from the likes of their former leader, Naobito Zenin, to Megumi Fushiguro. Furthermore, even members of this clan who are born with no cursed energy at all, such as Toji Fushiguro and Maki Zenin, are powerful in their own right. This clan is full of monsters and certainly deserves its place among the strongest families, even though its beliefs are questionable and certainly not very accepting.

In the Zenin Clan, the strongest individual at the moment is certainly Maki. Before her, Toji was the strongest individual who belonged to this clan that the fans knew of. Sadly, Toji is dead and that means Maki is the strongest individual alive who belongs to this incredible clan.

Maki was born with a Heavenly Restriction and in her case, she does not have any cursed energy at all. Instead, she is a physical monster who can keep up with even the likes of Sukuna to some extent. Megumi Fushiguro is another member of the Zenin Clan who is destined for greatness, however, he needs to control his power if he needs to reach those heights.

1 Gojo Family

Fans are very well aware of the Gojo Family, given that the very strongest sorcerer of the modern era belongs to this family. Gojo Satoru is the only member of this family that fans currently know of. That said, this clan is very prominent as it is a part of the Big Three Families in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen. The Gojo Family descended directly from Michizane Sugawara, believed to be among the Big Three Vengeful Spirits.

While not much light has been shed on the Gojo Family, what fans know for a fact is that Satoru wields all power, thanks to being born with Limitless as well as Six Eyes at the same time. He is the head of the clan and this allows him to act towards his very own interests. It is said that there are conservative members of the Gojo Family as well, however, Satoru, being at the helm of things, does as he likes and can protect those who need safety from the more reserved members of this clan.

Strongest Member: Gojo Satoru

Undoubtedly, the strongest member of the Gojo Family is Gojo Satoru himself. Fans know him to be an incredibly overpowered fighter, such that the entire world shifted when he was born. He is the first person in 400 years in the Gojo Family to possess both the Six Eyes and the Limitless technique. Gojo is exceptionally overpowered and a sorcerer in the same bracket as Sukuna. Over the years, he has trained his cursed technique as well as his physical attributes to the absolute best and he remains to be an exceptional fighter, the likes of which even Sukuna fears to quite an extent.

If all that wasn't enough, Gojo is also a master of Reverse Cursed Technique and he also possesses the incredibly overpowered Domain Expansion called Unlimited Void. This is the strongest Domain Expansion that fans have seen in the entire series and all this is just a surface-level understanding of how overpowered Gojo really is. He single-handedly puts the Gojo Family on the map and that is quite a big thing to pull off.
