Special Grade Sorcerers are the strongest in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen. They possess tremendous power up their sleeve and their skill is such that even Special Grade Curses cannot stand against them. So far, fans have seen only a limited number of Special Grade Sorcerers in JJK, however, every single one of them is incredibly overpowered.

Gojo, the strongest sorcerer of the modern era, is one of the prime examples of Special Grade sorcerers. As mentioned by Gojo once, the next generation will not stop at Special Grades. There will definitely be sorcerers who surpass the Special Grade and there are quite a few characters who have the potential to reach that level.
This list is in no particular order.
5 Kinji Hakari
Kinji Hakari is one of the strongest characters in Jujutsu Kaisen at the moment. As a third year in Tokyo Jujutsu High, Hakari is believed to be one of the strongest of the next generation. He possesses quite a vast amount of cursed energy and, at the same time, it is believed that his cursed energy has quite a rugged edge, which allows him to deal a lot of damage with each of his blows.
Hakari possesses a tremendous amount of strength. In fact, his strongest technique that he utilizes through his Domain Expansion, Idle Death Gamble, sees him gain an infinite amount of cursed energy for 4 minutes and 11 seconds, provided he lucks out. Furthermore, his body regenerates from all damage with reverse cursed technique automatically, which just goes to show how strong he truly is. He was even able to defeat Kashimo with his power up and he still likely has quite a few tricks that he has not shown to the fans just yet. Yuta believes that when he is serious, he is even stronger than him, however, Maki disproves this claim. Regardless, Gojo believed that he was one of the sorcerers who would definitely surpass Special Grade.
4 Yuta Okkotsu
Yuta Okkotsu is quite easily one of the most powerful sorcerers of the next generation, if not the strongest. He possesses quite a massive reserve of energy, greater than even that of Gojo. Furthermore, his cursed technique allows him to copy other cursed techniques and his connection to Rika makes him an unstoppable force in combat.
Jujutsu Kaisen: 11 Characters Stronger Than Mahito
Mahito is a powerful antagonist in Jujutsu Kaisen - however many of these characters can take him on.
Yuta could even defeat someone as strong as Geto in combat and that just goes to show how skilled he truly is. Furthermore, he is still young and continues to grow with each passing arc. Gojo believed that he would one day reach the same level of skill as him and, eventually, even surpass him. He is definitely one of the characters in JJK who can reach the status of a sorcerer greater than Special Grade.
3 Megumi Fushiguro
Megumi is one of the most blessed sorcerers in the entirety of JJK. He was born with the Inherited Cursed Technique of the Zenin Family, the 10 Shadows Technique. This technique allows him to summon up to 10 different shikigami using shadows as an intermediary. The strongest shikigami that he can use, Mahoraga, is incredibly powerful and nobody in the entire history of JJK has managed to tame him.
Megumi has quite a lot of potential and his half-baked Domain Expansion is also quite dangerous. He possesses so much skill that even Sukuna took an interest in him. Furthermore, Gojo was absolutely certain that Megumi was skilled enough to reach his level one day. He is certainly born with immense talent and all that he needs is to put in the effort. One day, Megumi can surpass the Special Grade Sorcerer level and read something new altogether.
2 Maki Zenin
Maki might not possess any cursed energy, however, she is monstrously powerful. This is down to a Heavenly Restriction that she has, just like Toji. Maki, although incredibly strong physically at the beginning of the series, still hadn't realized her full potential. It was only after the death of Mai that her true power was unleashed and she became just as strong as Toji.
Maki was able to annihilate her entire clan effortlessly and her full powers remain to be seen. She is certainly one of the sorcerers who will lead the next generation and surpass the Special Grade rank as well. Fans can't wait to see more from her in the future of JJK.
1 Yuji Itadori
Without a doubt, Yuji Is one character who will most likely surpass the Special Grade sorcerer rank as well. He possesses a tremendous amount of potential within himself. His usage of cursed energy is extremely efficient and, more importantly, he is a quick learner. Although he doesn't have a Cursed Technique, he could very well gain access to the technique of Sukuna and, when that happens, he will become incredibly powerful.
Yuji still has a lot of room to develop, however, eventually, he will certainly manage to get stronger. Gojo believed that he could one day reach the same level as him and there is absolutely no reason for the fans to doubt that claim if the strongest sorcerer of modern times believes that himself.
