Jujutsu Kaisen continues incredibly strong this week as well, as fans get to see yet another clash break out in the manga. Previously, the fight between Gojo and Sukuna was focused on for months and it is quite easy to see that this was one of the very best clashes in the entire series. However, Gege dropped the curtains on this fight last week when Gojo was killed brutally by Sukuna.

In a surprising fashion, fans were not given any time to mourn the death of Gojo or even focus on the aftermath of the clash, as Kashimo, the Lightning God, jumped into action immediately to test his mettle against the strongest of all time. This fight is what fans were incredibly excited for in this week's chapter and it certainly did deliver. However, the biggest part of the chapter was certainly not the clash itself, but the return of Ryomen Sukuna in his true form, for the very first time in a generation.

The Aftermath Of Gojo Vs Sukuna

Gojo and Sukuna fought each other for months and they pushed each other to the absolute extremes, as was expected of two godly beings of the JJK world. Gojo actually fared incredibly well against him, dominating the entire battle and showing his quick wit throughout. He put Sukuna on his last legs and had him trembling after he launched the powerful Hollow Purple. However, Sukuna created an entirely new attack to chop Gojo up, which left the fans in a state of shock. Gojo had finally died and Sukuna was declared as the victor.

The method Sukuna used to kill Gojo was certainly questionable and, to many, it did not make much sense, however, that is irrelevant at the moment as the story continues. Fans did not get even a second to mourn the death of Gojo as Kashimo immediately jumped to the battlefield. Previously, Kashimo had made known his interest in fighting against Sukuna. At the same time, fans know that he was also hiding his true power for quite a while because he wanted to test it out against the strongest of all time. In his fight against Hakari, he did not rely on his Cursed Technique at all and this only meant that it was going to be something incredibly overpowered that he could use only once. That is precisely what ended up happening in Jujutsu Kaisen 237.

Sukuna Vs Kashimo

Kashimo jujutsu kaisen 237

Sukuna versus Kashimo was the major focus of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 237. This fight did not have much of a buildup, but the payoff was certainly extremely great as once again, fans got to see Sukuna fight a very exciting battle but also, at the same time, witness the true power of wild card in the Culling Game, Kashimo. It was quite clear for the fans to see that Kashimo had cursed energy with electrical properties. In his fight against Hakari, he showcased his incredible power that allowed him to electrify his opponents and, at the same time, use blasts of cursed energy that produced a sure hit effect even without relying on Domain Expansion. And the fact that he was not utilizing his cursed technique only meant that his true power was even greater.

In this chapter, fans finally got to see the power of Kashimo as he unleashed his cursed technique, called Genju Kohasaku. His cursed technique allows him to remake his body to blast any kind of attack created by using his Cursed Energy. In his fight against Sukuna, it was quite clear that he was dominating and managed to land quite a few punches on him, which surprised even the King of Curses. To make things even worse for Sukuna, it was revealed that his cursed technique boosts all his physical attributes to sky-high levels and anything that he blasts with his waves gets vaporized quickly. This spelled trouble for the King of Curses and forced him to finally tap into a very dangerous power – his true form.

Sukuna's Return To His True Form

Sukuna Reincarnated True Form

Kashimo certainly did incredibly well against Sukuna in the initial parts of the chapter. He dominated the fight and did not allow Sukuna to land any powerful blows. Even though Sukuna had his Cursed Tool, he was not able to do much against Kashimo using it and it was clear that the latter was absolutely dominating the fight. That was where this fight took a very exciting turn and Sukuna, by the looks of it, started to reincarnate. The narrator took over for the fans and explained that even without using Reverse Cursed Technique, Sukuna has a method to reincarnate that he can only use once.

This is likely the trump card that he had up his sleeve all this time that he was not using, due to some unknown reason right now. However, finally, he realized that it was time for him to reincarnate and that is exactly what he did in the midst of his fight against Kashimo.

Fans finally got a proper look at Sukuna in his true form once again after a millennium. The King of Curses has returned to his true body and the process of reincarnation has started. This means fans will finally get to see Sukuna showcase his true form strength in the upcoming chapter and it might as well be curtains for Kashimo already. Furthermore, Sukuna is most likely at his very best at the moment, given that he also has access to his Cursed Tool which was delivered by Uraume in the previous chapter. Although lightning does not work on Kashimo, fans might be surprised to see him use this Cursed Tool in ways that will surprise even the Lightning God himself.

The True Power Of Sukuna

Sukuna True Form Jujutsu Kaisen

From here onwards, the focus will most likely shift to Sukuna, the King of Curses. This most likely means that he is now at his strongest or, at the very least, in his strongest form. The fight that he had against Gojo still has taken quite a lot from him, meaning that even in his strongest body, he could be in a weakened state at the moment. That is, unless the process of reincarnation heals him completely and puts him back to full strength. For now, this has not been confirmed in the manga, so fans can only assume that he is still weakened to quite some extent.

Nonetheless, Sukuna taking his true form once again should give him a significant boost, otherwise he would not have taken the transformation in the first place. Fans could clearly see his many eyes and four arms ready to crush Kashimo towards the end of the chapter. Sukuna will display a completely new level of Jujutsu Sorcery in the upcoming chapter and fans should brace themselves for that.

Of course, the question of what happened to Megumi remains, however, at this point, it appears unlikely that he will be able to return anytime soon. The chances for Megumi to die are also very high. But, the story will only come to that later. For now, it is time for Kashimo to meet his end at the hands of the fully reincarnated King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna in his true form.

Jujutsu Kaisen is available to read via Viz Media. The series can be read by the fans officially and for free on the Shonen Jump and the Manga Plus app. The release date for the next chapter of JJK, Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 237, is set to be October 1, 2023.
