Jujutsu Kaisen has been delivering a lot of exciting fights for the fans to witness in the current arc. Undoubtedly, the biggest fight of all that fans have witnessed over the course of the last few months in the story is the clash between Gojo Satoru, the strongest modern sorcerer, and Sukuna, the strongest sorcerer from the Heian Era.
This fight has been teased for years now and now, it is finally being illustrated by the author. Having continued for months, this fight has certainly lived up to all expectations and has seen both of these immense sorcerers go all out. It is a fight like no other where both of these characters have their own reasons to win. Gojo, the fan-favorite sorcerer, has plenty of reasons as to why he should win over Sukuna.
6 Better Cursed Technique
One of the biggest reasons why Gojo is going to win over Sukuna is the fact that he has a much better Cursed Technique. Gojo is the user of the Limitless technique and it is quite easily the most overpowered Cursed Technique that fans have seen in the entirety of JJK.
While Sukuna does possess a very powerful ability that allows him to slice and dice people as well as incinerate them using certain techniques, it is not in the same bracket as Gojo's Limitless. Even touching Gojo requires the usage of amplification and, what's more, the incredible power that Limitless offers him is just impossible to compete with for the vast majority of fighters.
5 Better Usage Of Reverse Cursed Technique
Just as Gojo possesses a stronger Cursed Technique, he also possesses better control over Reverse Cursed Technique. The Reverse Cursed Technique makes use of positive energy and is used in healing one's body after receiving injuries as well as, in rare cases, refilling the burnt-out Cursed Energy.
Gojo can do both of these things extremely well. While Sukuna can also handle both of these things, the efficiency at which he does it is not as good as that of Gojo. In fact, previously in the fight, his inability to keep up with Gojo in terms of Reverse Cursed Technique provided the latter with some major openings to deal damage.
4 Higher Fighting Intellect
Overall, Gojo appears to be the smarter fighter of the two. This fight has gone on for months now and throughout those months, fans have seen Gojo outsmart Sukuna time and again. Gojo has incredible intellect when it comes to fighting and very few people can match up to him.
More recently, he damaged Sukuna terribly with a powerful Cursed Technique Reversal: Red and then landed a powerful Black Flash on him. This instance was the perfect example of how Gojo is smarter in combat than Sukuna. Despite the odds being against him, Gojo has pulled the rabbit out of the hat on more than one occasion, all thanks to his incredible way of looking at fights and emerging as the victor.
3 Better At The Usage Of Black Flash
Gojo also appears to be a better user of Black Flash. This ability is incredibly hard to pull off and only happens when one applies Cursed Energy in one-millionth of a second while landing a hit. Throughout this fight, Gojo has released a barrage of Black Flashes, especially towards the end of the fight. This did lasting damage to Sukuna and even knocked him out on one occasion.
Furthermore, landing a barrage of Black Flashes also refilled his ability to make use of Reverse Cursed Technique once again. Undoubtedly, Gojo excels in this aspect of fighting as well. Sukuna, while also an incredible user of Cursed Energy, does not appear to have a similar level of control over this power.
2 Defeated Agito And Mahoraga
A big reason why Gojo is going to win over Sukuna is the fact that he has already disposed of the strongest cards that Sukuna had in his hands. The vast majority of the fight saw Sukuna rely on the powers of Mahoraga and, more recently, also Agito. Essentially, Sukuna made this fight into a three-on-one for Gojo, which was certainly going to be a problem.
Despite everything, Gojo rose above adversity and defeated both Agito as well as Mahoraga. Agito was taken out by a powerful Maximum Output: Blue and reduced to dust. Meanwhile, Mahoraga was dealt with using Hollow Technique: Purple. With the strongest trump cards out of the way, there is absolutely no way for Sukuna to win this fight anymore. This only goes to show that Gojo truly is the strongest sorcerer of all time, surpassing even Sukuna.
1 Point To Prove
Above all, Gojo has a point to prove that Sukuna doesn't. Gojo returned to the main story after quite a long time and he was not going to lose his very first fight or die in it. At the same time, Gojo had a promise to live up to, and more importantly, all his students were watching this clash very carefully.
Gojo always leads by example and for him to fall to Sukuna in a disgraceful manner would certainly not be ideal. For Gojo, this was the ultimate test and one that he was very excited to take. It is safe to say that he succeeded in defeating Sukuna and got his name engraved in history itself. Gojo is, by far, the stronger of the two sorcerers in nearly every single aspect of battle.
