Straw Doll Technique

The Straw doll technique that Nobara uses to fight her opponents is known as an innate technique, a unique which is engraved onto the user's body and most of the time it is personalized according to a jujutsu sorcerer's skill set. In the case of Nobara, she is able to use this technique by using tools such as nails, hammer and a straw doll. She is also able to channel her cursed energy into these tools to cause damage on her opponents.

Nobara inherited the straw doll technique from a grandmother and practiced using it until she was able to master the art of this technique. The method in which she uses her straw dolls is by using the doll as a connection between herself and the opponent, once a link is established, Nobara uses a technique known as resonance while using her nails to impale the dolls which also results in critical damage on her opponent, similar to the voodoo doll concept. This is seen during Yuji and Nobara's fight against Eso and Kechizu, when Eso decides to flee the scene on a moving pickup truck, Nobara used Eso severed arm with her straw doll and impaled the straw doll with her nails which resulted in Eso also being impaled and falling off the truck, where Yuji jumps in and lands a powerful punch killing him.

Resonance And Hairpin

Nobara also used her straw doll technique during the Kyoto Goodwill Event, during her encounter with Momo Nishimiya, she was unable to hit Momo or keep up with her speed but instead used the environment around her by sticking her nails into trees and use the nails as a way to jump and grab a piece of Momo's broom and stick it into her straw doll and then used resonance to void the cursed energy in Momo's broom. Nobara also uses a technique known as hairpin, this technique allows her to cause her to douse her nails with cursed energy and setting them off to explode at will causing a destructive explosion.

When it comes to adapting to situations to win the fight, Nobara is known to be quite fearless. This is seen again during the fight with Eso and Kechizu when Nobara willing stabbed herself with nails in order to activate resonance since the poison from Eso and Kechizu was already on her skin, by unleashing resonance she was able to stun them both. The effectiveness of resonance is based on the strength, power, skill level and the targeted body part of the opponent. Resonance can also be used on multiple enemies if a link is made causing all of them to get hurt at the same time. Nobara is also able to use black flash and was able to unleash it for the first time on Kechizu, the attack was so powerful that it left the cursed spirit on the near brink of death. The combination of all her weapons makes Nobara a force to be reckoned with, as she continues to use her multiple techniques to her advantage.
