However, In JJK chapter 261, it was confirmed that while Gojo's body was actually there, the one controlling the body was none other than Yuta Okkotsu, who fans known to be one of the strongest rising modern sorcerers. Now, Yuta has the opportunity to go up against Sukuna once again, but this time, he's far stronger than before. In fact, Yuta could end up impressing the fans for more than they expected, and he is now in the running for becoming the strongest of all time.

In JJK chapter 261, it was finally confirmed how Gojo actually returned to the battlefield. Essentially, this was a well-thought-out plan that was laid out by the sorcerers before the battle even began. The body-switching plan belonged to Yuta in its entirety. Simply put, Yuta was seen arguing with his fellow Sorcerers and he suggested that if Gojo were to lose the battle against Sukuna, then he would be the one to jump into the fight next utilizing the very body of his Sensei. Of course, the sorcerers objected to this, calling it a bit inhumane, and at the same time, being worried for Yuta. However, Yuta was quick to point out that in order to defeat a monster like Sukuna, they had to let go of their humanity as well. Discussing this plan with Gojo as well, Yuta received a heads up and thus this plan was formulated.

Of course, for this plan to come into action, many prerequisites needed to be met. First and foremost, Gojo needed to die. Fans know that after facing the World Splitting Dismantle, Gojo ended up losing his life. Yuta then decided to fight Sukuna in his own domain and ended up losing, being chopped in half, just like Gojo. Before his life ran out, however, Yuta switched bodies and took over Gojo instead. For instance, Yuta has all of Gojo's memories, and with that, he has access to all of his experience as well. Yuta can make use of the Six Eyes, and at the same time, he can also make use of the Limitless cursed technique. This means Yuta can use everything from Infinity to Red, Blue, and even Purple. He was blessed with talent that even Gojo might not have possessed, and that makes him very special. This special bloodline of Yuta could actually put him on a level higher than before and set him up for great things in the future.
