Jujutsu Kaisen is currently in what appears to be its last arc, and here, Sukuna, the King of Curses, who is also known to be the final villain of this incredible story, is going all out. Of course, given that this is the end of the story, Sukuna will gradually be defeated here, however, before that, he's going to put on quite a show, and he has done so already.

Kusakabe is the only remaining sorcerer that can fight Sukuna right now in JJK.

Sukuna is quite powerful, and that is something that fans knew from the very beginning, given that he was called the King of Curses. His cursed technique of hacking and slashing his enemies was always incredibly overpowered, however, there more to Sukuna than just that. In fact, one of the most incredible abilities that Sukuna possesses comes through his Black Box, much of which remains to be a mystery to this day.

Sukuna's Cursed Technique

When it comes to Sukuna's cursed technique, fans do not even know the name of this power. This is quite surprising, given that revealing one's hand boosts the power of their techniques. Despite that, Sukuna has never done this in the story, which just goes to show the incredible confidence that he has in his skill. That said, fans know quite a lot about Sukuna's cursed technique by now. Sukuna has the ability to launch powerful slashes at his enemies, and chop them into bits. Primarily, Sukuna uses two slashes, and these are Dismantle and Cleave.

When it comes to Dismantle, this is a regular slash that is fired at the enemies from a distance. The slash is the same for all enemies that Sukuna is fighting. Meanwhile, Cleave is somewhat different. Its power depends on the toughness and the strength of his opponents, and of course, the amount of cursed energy that Sukuna puts into this technique. Both of these techniques are incredibly powerful and chop the enemies into bits. They are truly brought to the utmost best using malevolent shrine, which is the Domain Expansion of Sukuna. Given that Malevolent Shrine is an open domain expansion, the amount of destruction that Sukuna can bring forth with this power is unmatched.

Sukuna also possesses the world splitting slash, which is an ability that can be considered to be his strongest at this point in time. This power was awakened by Sukuna during his fight against Gojo. In order to get past Gojo's Infinity, Sukuna ended up studying Mahoraga and got the blueprint to bypass Gojo's protection with this technique. With the World Splitting Slash, Sukuna can expand the target of his technique from simply one person to the entire world, which allows him to bisect anything and everything in his path.

Just these skills by themselves make Sukuna's cursed technique absolutely incredible. It goes without saying that his cursed technique is one of the strongest that fans have seen in the story. However, that certainly is not all there is to Sukuna's power. He possesses much more and fans will most definitely see more of that in the upcoming chapters too.

Sukuna's Second Cursed Technique – Black Box

Much to the surprise of the fans, Sukuna isn't limited to his hacking and slashing techniques. In fact, he might actually possess a completely different cursed technique. This technique was first hinted at during the Shibuya Incident. There, it was revealed that Sukuna has the power to use a special Black Box. This Black Box was first used by Sukuna during his fight against none other than Jogo. When Sukuna challenged Jogo to a battle, he clearly mentioned that he wanted to fight using Jogo's very own special flames. Jogo, as fans know, had the power of Disaster Flames, and he could incinerate anyone and everyone in his path within an instant. Yet, Sukuna, using the power of his Black Box, was able to utilize the power of fire itself. When Sukuna utilized the Black Box, he said the word “Open.” After that, Sukuna was able to gain access to flames that were even stronger than those of Jogo. He created a giant fire arrow, called Fuga, and using this technique, he absolutely incinerated Jogo, who himself was the disaster of flames. Jogo was certainly strong, however, he was not strong enough to sustain Sukuna's cursed technique that came from his Black Box.

It wasn't the only instance where Sukuna utilized the power of the Black Box. When he was fighting against Mahoraga, Sukuna realized that the power of his Cleave and dismantle was not as effective, since the Divine General was going to adapt to them. To that end, he decided to finish the battle in a single shot, and he used the power of Fuga, which is only accessible to him after he opens the Black Box, once again. When Sukuna launched this fire arrow, Mahoraga was utterly defeated, which means that, at the very least, this is one of Sukuna's very strongest techniques.

How Does Sukuna Possess Two Cursed Techniques?

Clearly, it appears that Sukuna possesses two cursed techniques. The cursed technique is what he usually utilizes, and the second one, which he uses through the Black Box, is what he has used on two occasions already. It remains a mystery as to how Sukuna is able to use two cursed techniques and what the Black Box truly is. There appear to be some conditions as to when Sukuna cannot utilize this power. This is a very good explanation as to why he hasn't used it in the Culling Game, even in his battle against Gojo, or in the fights after.

If Sukuna was able to utilize the power of the black box and incinerate his enemies with the flame arrow, then he would certainly have done that. The fact that he isn't able to do this means that certain conditions might need to be met before he can use this power. Fans can rest assured that before Sukuna falls, the mystery of the Black Box and the power of the fire arrow will most likely be explained.

As to how Sukuna has access to this power, there is a very popular idea that suggests that he is actually a conjoined twin. If Sukuna truly does have another body that he either ate or absorbed at some point in his life, then it would make sense as to why he has this ability that he can only access through the Black Box. For now, this is just conjecture, of course, however, it is one with a very strong basis, given that Sukuna himself is based on the story of conjoined twins.

Hopefully, the author of the story explains this and many other mysteries to the fans in the final arc of the story. For now, Sukuna continues to fight his way through all the sorcerers, showcasing why he is the strongest of all time. Of course, as his skill is tested, he will be forced to utilize the power of the Black Box and potentially the flame arrow, once again.
