The Shinjuku Showdown arc is the latest and the ongoing arc in Jujutsu Kaisen, and it is one that has every fan on the edge of their seats with each passing chapter. The most exciting fights in the entire story have taken place in th arc, with a lot of focus being thrown on the main antagonist, Ryomen Sukuna, and of course, the vast majority of the sorcerers of the modern era.

Of course, Shinjuku Showdown has seen JJK bring out its strongest fighters who have made quite a name for themselves over the years.
10 Hiromi Higuruma
A Genius Attorney Turned Sorcerer
Hiromi Higuruma is a rookie sorcerer who was given a cursed technique by Kenjaku after remote activation of Idle Transfiguration. Higuruma can be considered to be one of the most talented sorcerers to ever live. In fact, his talent itself is comparable to Gojo, which makes him an incredible sorcerer. He is a skilled user of his cursed technique, and even has a proper domain expansion, called Deadly Sentencing.
Despite having been a user of cursed energy for just months, he figured out complex things such as reverse engineering barrier techniques and even domain amplification in the midst of battle, which just goes to show his incredible power.
9 Yuji Itadori
The Protagonist Of The Story
Yuji has strengthened himself tremendously during the short timeskip in Jujutsu Kaisen. He is now a very powerful individual whom even Sukuna has acknowledged in some regard.
Yuji holds the power to shake the souls of everyone, including the King of Curses. He can deal soul damage to his enemies, and now, he can also heal using reverse cursed technique, making him an exceptionally powerful sorcerer.
8 Uraume
Sukuna's Devout Follower
Uraume is easily one of the most underrated individuals in Jujutsu Kaisen. Their strength is absolutely immense, and their usage of their cursed technique, called Ice Formation, is absolutely impeccable. Uraume is even capable of using reverse cursed technique.
They have enough strength to fight and hold back Kinji Hakari in battle, and that alone makes them very powerful. In fact, Uraume even managed to tank a punch from Gojo, and even Hollow Purple, which is nothing short of impressive.
7 Kinji Hakari
The Genius 3rd Year Sorcerer
Kinji Hakari remains to be one of the most skilled sorcerers in the Shinjuku Showdown arc. Fans have previously seen him fight against Kashimo and win in the Culling Game arc. Now, he is up against Uraume in battle, and his incredible healing, which was said to be superior to even that of Gojo and Sukuna, has been put on display on many occasions.
Hakari and his cursed technique are on a different level entirely and that makes him one of the most exciting sorcerers in Shinjuku Showdown.
6 Hajime Kashimo
The Lightning God
Kashimo, also known as the Lightning God, is an ancient sorcerer from 400 years ago who joined the Culling Game, thanks to Kenjaku's invitation. In the Shinjuku showdown, he finally got his chance to fight against Sukuna.
He utilized his cursed technique, called Mythical Beast Amber, and certainly surpassed human limitations. Using this power, he could utilize any phenomena produced by electricity, and he even managed to push Sukuna to his true form. At the end of the day, however, he was killed but Ryomen Sukuna.
5 Kenjaku
The Most Heinous Sorcerer In History
Kenjaku is quite a powerful individual and the secondary antagonist of the series. While he was considered to be one of the strongest, thanks to his incredible mind and ability, Kenjaku met a very disappointing end in the Shinjuku showdown arc.
He fought a very bizarre fight against Takaba, and was then killed in the most disappointing manner by Yuta, who decapitated him. Still, Kenjaku possessed incredible strength, and this came from his Cursed Spirit Manipulation, as well as techniques such as Womb Profusion and Anti-gravity.
4 Yuta Okkotsu
Gojo's Protege
Yuta Okkotsu showed his true power in the Shinjuku Showdown arc, where he managed to kill Kenjaku, and later down the line, even fought against Sukuna. Yuta finally showcased his incredible Domain Expansion, called Authentic Mutual Love.
Together with Rika, Yuta was a force to be reckoned with in this battle, and his copy ability was shown at its very peak, where he threw everything that he had at Sukuna, including his very own cursed technique, Cleave.
3 Maki Zenin

Maki Zenin, the sorcerer who avoided being cursed, is certainly one of the strongest individuals in the Shinjuku Showdown. Maki recently fought against Sukuna, and the King of Curses himself praised her as one of the only individuals capable of making him relish battle.
Sakuna looks forward to fighting against Maki more than any other individual, which implies that she might actually be a better fighter, possibly. At the same time, Maki’s performance against Sukuna in itself was incredible. She was able to throw him around and match him in terms of physical combat effortlessly. Of course, Sukuna, being tested, eventually dealt a telling blow using Black Flash.
2 Gojo Satoru
The Honored One
The strongest sorcerer of the modern era, Gojo Satoru played a major role in the Shinjuku Showdown Arc. All eyes were on him when he took on Sukuna in battle, and this fight was certainly extremely exciting.
Gojo completely matched Sukuna in every aspect of the battle, even dominating him in phases of it. Unfortunately for him, he was not able to see through Sukuna's ultimate technique of the World Splitting Slash. Gojo ended up losing the battle despite being dominant at the end, and he also lost his life in the process.

The King Of Curses
Ryomen Sukuna is certainly the strongest characters in the Shinjuku Showdown arc of Jujutsu Kaisen. Sakuna is incredibly powerful and he has showcased that on many occasions in this arc.
Not only did he make incredible use of Megumi's body, and utilize the 10 Shadows Technique like a true master, but he also reincarnated into his true form, where he was absolutely unstoppable. Sukuna has fought one sorcerer after another, and still managed to hold his own, which just goes to show how incredible he is as a fighter.
