Jujutsu Kaisen has seen the rise and fall of some of the most overpowered sorcerers over the years. At the beginning of the story, it was made quite clear to the fans that Gojo was the strongest sorcerer, however, there was also room for others to join him on this incredible pedestal.

Jujutsu Kaisen: How Yuji Can Defeat Sukuna

The plot requires Yuji to eventually take Sukuna on and defeat him in JJK.

JJK has consistently introduced fans to geniuses over the years and some whose potential is so great that they can become the strongest themselves. The next generation of Jujutsu Sorcerers is absolutely brimming with potential and that is something Gojo has himself confirmed previously.

The Standards Set by Gojo Satoru

When it comes to the standard set by Gojo, to become the strongest sorcerer, one would have to work incredibly hard. Gojo was an absolute monster in combat. His levels of cursed energy were nothing short of magnificent, however, he was also blessed with immense abilities from the get-go. Gojo had the power of Limitless and, on top of that, even the Six Eyes to go along with it. He was the first person in 400 years to be born with this combination of powers and that is what made him special. In fact, when Gojo was born, the balance of the world shifted entirely. That in itself just goes to show how powerful a character Gojo was. In fact, Gojo himself says that 80% of the ability to use cursed technique is intrinsic.

This means that at a very young age, a person is either filled with immense talent, which they can then utilize to the best of their abilities, or, they have no talent at all. Gojo possessed tremendous talent and he made full use of it. He learned the power of Limitless incredibly well and took it to a completely different level. He was able to master both Blue and Red and even Purple to a great degree. Gojo mastered Reverse Cursed Technique at a level where even Sukuna was highly impressed by it, and his overall ability was just unmatched. Even though Gojo ended up losing to Sukuna, it is a fact that without Mahoraga, Sukuna would have struggled in this battle a lot more and could potentially even have lost. Gojo is, at the end of the day, a sorcerer on the same level as Sukuna, regardless of what the consensus is. As a result, the standards set by Gojo are of the highest order for the next generation.

The Next Generation Of Sorcerers In Jujutsu Kaisen

The next generation of sorcerers in Jujutsu Kaisen are shining stars. These are the students that Gojo wanted to follow in his footsteps and become the next big thing. According to Gojo, some of them could even reach his level and he believed others had tremendous abilities up their sleeve. The next generation of sorcerers in Jujutsu Kaisen were also deemed very dangerous by Gojo. According to him, they were progressing at such a rate that Special Grade might not be enough to describe their level, and that in itself is quite a scary picture drawn by the strongest modern sorcerer.

Fans have seen the introduction of quite a lot of incredible next-generation sorcerers in JJK over the years. While some of them were blessed with immense talent, others had to toil to get to a higher level and be in contention for the strongest. There are those who awaken cursed techniques and master them within a few months, which, once again, shows how big geniuses they were, and, of course, there are those who were late bloomers as well. The next generation of JJK sorcerers is nothing short of extraordinary and there are all kinds of sorcerers there who will play a major role in the Culling Game arc as it continues and JJK edges closer to its end.

Kinji Hakari

According to Gojo, Kinji Hakari could one day reach his level of strength. Hakari is quite powerful and he has immense cursed energy up his sleeve. His cursed energy also has a rugged edge and it can deal extra damage because of that. His biggest strength is his cursed technique, Private Pure Love Train, which he utilizes primarily through Domain Expansion, Idle Death Gamble.

Jujutsu Kaisen: January 2024 Manga Schedule

Here's what fans can expect from the JJK manga in January 2024.

Essentially, it is a pachinko-based game on a train station where, if he lucks out, he gets infinite cursed energy for 4 minutes and 11 seconds. He is also immortal during this time as any injury that he receives is regenerated instantly. He can use this technique again and again and, the more he uses this, the easier the chances for him to luck out become.

Just having a look at his cursed technique is enough for the fans to see why Gojo considered him as one of the brightest prospects in the up and coming generation. Added to that is the fact that he possesses the fastest reverse cursed technique in JJK as a whole. The speed at which he regenerates surpasses even that of Gojo and Sukuna.

Yuta Okkotsu

Yuta Okkotsu is another one of the sorcerers whom Gojo believed would one day reach his level of strength. Yuta was nothing short of extraordinary from the get-go and much of that was down to his connection to Rika.

Over the years, Yuta has trained his power incredibly well and, currently, he might be the strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer on the side of the heroes after Gojo. Utah has more cursed energy than Gojo himself and he has the power of Rika, who can replenish his already massive cursed energy reserves. He has the ability to copy any cursed technique that he wishes, if a few steps are met and, of course, he has the incredible ability of reverse cursed technique as well. Yuta has tremendous potential as a sorcerer, and the fact that he could sneak up on Kenjaku and decapitate him very recently is just a small proof of that.

Yuji Itadori

The protagonist of the story, Yuji Itadori was also one of the people who Gojo believed would one day reach his level of strength. Yuji might not be anything special on the surface, however, he is special through and through in the sense that he was planned by Kenjaku in a very special manner. Yuji is a special child who was born for a very specific reason. He was somehow able to control Sukuna, something that nobody else could do and, as a result, he could very well have access to Sukuna's cursed technique eventually. Added to that is the fact that Yuji might just be one of the Death Paintings himself and it is heavily implied in the story that he might have the ability to utilize the Blood Manipulation cursed technique. He is also a physical monster and, in many ways, he is already an incredible fighter. He has sky-high potential and he will continue to grow in the final saga of the story.

There are also many others who are similar to him, such as Megumi, who has incredible potential that Gojo has acknowledged himself, and Maki, who is as strong as Toji and has the potential to get even stronger and maybe reach similar levels to Gojo himself. These are the next generation sorcerers of JJK who hold tremendous potential and they will shape the world for the better.
