Gojo might have sacrificed his right eye to return in JJK. Did Satoru use a binding vow?

That, and much else was tackled in JJK chapter 260, leaving the fans more hyped than ever before for the future of the series.

Todo's Renewed Boogie Woogie

Todo Utilized Boogie Woogie Better Than Ever Before

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 260 picked up right where the previous one left off. Fans knew that they were going to be treated with a proper battle between Sukuna and the duo of Yuji and Todo, and that is precisely what ended up happening. Towards the end of the last chapter, Todo was seen tearing away the bandages on his left hand, and it was made obvious that he was going to reveal his new prosthetic. While most fans believe that he would have a gun or something along those lines instead of his hand, the author went with a bizarre choice, which perfectly fits with his character, and it was a vibraslap. Essentially, a vibraslap has a ball and a wooden box, inside of which a metal piece vibrates.

An arm is merely a decoration. The act of applause is an acclamation of the soul!

Instead of the clap being the trigger for his cursed technique to activate, the renewed Boogie Woogie now works with the vibrations caused by the slapping of the ball to the wooden head. Because of this change to the mechanics of this cursed technique, Boogie Woogie has essentially been strengthened by manifold. In fact, it was made clear in JJK chapter 260 that, essentially, Todo can swap places up to 50 times in a single second, which makes this an incredibly overpowered technique. This is because there are about 50 vibrations of the metal piece that is inside the wooden box once the ball hits it. Todo can swap places as many times as he wants in that second, which means that this technique is now far more overpowered than ever before.

Taking this a step beyond, Todo imposed a Binding Vow on himself. Essentially, by limiting the number of swaps, he was able to increase both the number of people that he could swap with as well as the range of his technique. This is what made Boogie Woogie an incredibly powerful cursed technique, and one that even Sukuna could not perceive in JJK chapter 260. Clearly, Todo is in a league of his own now and certainly one of the most innovative cursed technique users that the fans have seen in the series over the years.

Yuji Launched A Deadly Attack On Sukuna

Yuji Deals Yet Another Telling Blow To Sukuna

In JJK chapter 260, fans got to see Yuji and Todo combining their powers efficiently. It was almost as if these two had known each other for years, leaving fans stunned at how well they combined against Sukuna. Yuji was able to read Todo's swaps perfectly, and his focus was on an entirely different level, something that even Sukuna commended in this chapter. Even though Sukuna tried his best to attack Todo in the midst of the swapping, he failed every single time. Todo, meanwhile, was able to swap so many times that it almost felt like they were in roulette.

Sukuna had no idea where the attacks would come from, and just when he least expected it, Yuji launched powerful blows at him. Even when Sukuna tried his best to figure out how the swapping would work, he ended up missing the target, and in the end, he simply concluded that it was impossible to get used to the renewed Boogie Woogie since it was way too overpowered. His best bet at figuring out when the swap would happen was to notice Yuji's focus levels, and when it hit its peak, he would know that the swamp was about to happen.

Jujutsu Kaisen: How Todo Helped Yuta Kill Kenjaku, Explained

Yuta was helped by Aoi Todo in defeating Kenjaku. Here's what happened in JJK.

Even then, when he tried to hit Yuji, he was surprised because Todo used a deception within a deception, within a deception, and surprised the King of Curses once again. This opened up the way for Yuji to launch another powerful attack on him, and this time, it was a Black Flash. This Black Flash certainly caused a lot of damage to Sukuna, and Yuji did not stop right there. In fact, he plunged his claws deep into his chest, potentially ripping at his heart, trying to pull it out.

While Yuji was putting his entire strength into this attack, it didn't seem like he was making all that much of a difference to Sukuna. This was because he knew that he was going to end the battle in the next attack. By making the palm sign for his newly acquired Malevolent Shrine, Sukuna was about to unleash his domain once again. The narrator went on to say that Sukuna would not have been able to do this usually, but after picking up the ability to refill his burnt-out cursed technique, he was essentially able to spam his domain as many times as he wanted.

Gojo Satoru Makes A Comeback

The moment Sukuna made the palm sign for domain expansion, a shocking thing happened in JJK chapter 260 that surprised every single fan of the story. As soon as the words “Domain Expansion” were uttered, something shocking happened in the story. These words were not necessarily from Sukuna, and fans still don't know who the one opening the domain truly was.

Sukuna had seen...what his hands had buried. The ghost of the strongest!

However, immediately after these words, Sukuna looked to his left, which implies that whoever uttered the words Domain Expansion was on that side. There, he could clearly see a silhouette, and moments later, Sukuna saw the strongest that he buried with his own hands, Gojo. The wording of the statement is very curious, as the implication here is that Gojo is back from the dead. Of course, the translation used the words for ghost, which has led many fans to believe that this is Gojo's ghost who has somehow returned.

However, Sukuna has also referred to Kashimo as a ghost, simply because he has died once already. Similarly, Gojo has died once already, and this could essentially mean that Gojo truly is back. From here onwards, the battle between the sorcerers and Sukuna is going to be that much more interesting, and fans absolutely cannot wait to see what happens next. Thankfully, there is no break heading into next week, and in just a few more days, fans will find out their answer as to whether this individual truly is Gojo or just an apparition.

Jujutsu Kaisen is available to read via Viz Media. The series can be read by the fans officially and for free on the Shonen Jump and the Manga Plus app. The release date for the next chapter of JJK, Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 261, is set to be May 26, 2024.
