Kenjaku's Death Finally Confirmed

Finally, JJK confirmed the death of Kenjaku in chapter 249 of the series. Kenjaku was a very interesting antagonist in the series. Some fans would argue that he was even better than Sukuna, that is, until his death was written in the story. Kenjaku was behind every single major catastrophe that unfolded in the world of JJK in one way or another. He was truly a heinous mastermind who did whatever it took to get his goal of the merger to become a reality. Be it the tragedy of Shibuya, or the horrifying Culling Game, Kenjaku was the man who was behind it all and that is truly what made him special. After doing all that he did, fans expected Kenjaku to go out in a special way. However, unfortunately, that was not the case. The author completely missed the mark when it comes to the ending for his character and he went out in the most unsatisfying manners, having been decapitated by Yuta without even a proper fight.

In this week's chapter, his death was finally confirmed. As soon as he was decapitated, the many cursed spirits inside Geto's body ran out. That is why Rika was needed to subdue them. Shortly afterwards, Yuta stabbed Kenjaku's head with his sword, effectively killing him so he couldn't return as a vengeful spirit either. Before dying, however, he added a new rule to the Culling Game. This rule made Megumi the person in charge of the merger, effectively giving Sukuna this power. At the same time, Tengen was passed over to Sukuna as well, making things all the more exciting.

Yuta Vs Sukuna Begins

Fans expected JJK chapter 249 to continue the battle between Yuta and Sukuna and that is precisely what happened. At the beginning of the chapter, as the flashback was going on, fans saw Yuta blame himself for many characters falling in battle. Yuta has always been a kind soul in the cruel world of JJK who has been forced to fight. Once again, Yuta was deeply saddened by the fact that many of his comrades had to die. He blamed himself for everyone who fell in battle while he was gone and even wondered if someone else could have done the job against Kenjaku. However, at the end of the day, Yuta also realizes the fact that he's here now and he can still protect many by taking down Sukuna. For that very reason, Yuta has now mustered all his strength, as was seen in JJK chapter 249.

Yuta's copy technique might be used against Sukuna in JJK.

His battle against Sukuna went very well right from the get-go. Yuta was able to hang in with him in battle and tank some of his powerful slashes from point-blank range. This is a feat that not many can pull off in the JJK world and once again goes to show that Yuta is quite powerful himself. Furthermore, fans also got to see him launching some powerful blows on Sukuna by outsmarting him in battle.

Yuta's Domain Expansion

Of course, the pinnacle of JJK chapter 249 was when Yuta finally expanded his domain. Fans have been waiting to see his domain expansion for quite a long time now. The first time it was teased was when he was in a three-way battle with Uro and Ishigori. At that time, unfortunately, fans did not get to see what his domain expansion actually was and what it did. Now, however, fans got a proper look at Yuta's domain expansion, called all-encompassing unequivocal love, or true and mutual love.

This domain expansion is nothing short of amazing, both in terms of design as well as the power that it possesses. When it comes to design, the domain inside seems to be an area that is marked with many katanas, similar to those that Yuta revealed himself. There are also many knots tied around, which signify a wedding. The more that the nods are tugged at, the stronger they become, signifying the unending bond between Yuta and Rika.

When it comes to the strength of the domain expansion, it is, understandably very dangerous. This domain expansion brings Yuta's Copy technique to its very pinnacle. Essentially, Copy has absolutely no restrictions within this domain expansion. Yuta can utilize all the copied abilities that he has indefinitely without any restrictions and use them as his sure-hit attack as well. Furthermore, fans do not know if you can copy other techniques inside his domain without any restrictions either. If true, then this domain expansion would be one of the most dangerous ones in the entirety of JJK.

Regardless, this powerful domain expansion was seen in action immediately as soon as it was opened. While Sukuna tried to use an anti-domain technique to protect himself, Yuta used Thin Ice Breaker, which he copied from Takako Uro, to break through and land a powerful blow to his face, damaging one of his eyes. Clearly, Yuta is incredibly serious about ending this battle inside his domain before Sukuna gets back to his best.

Yuji's Major Role Vs Sukuna Confirmed

JJK chapter 249 also confirmed Yuji's role in this incredible fight. Essentially, Yuji is there, waiting for his opportunity against Sukuna. While Yuta is going to keep his second pair of hands and mouth occupied, all the while launching many copied abilities attempting to weaken him, Yuji has to wait for his perfect opportunity to land his powerful punch that can rip souls apart. Where he gets this ability from is something that fans do not know just yet. What they do know is that Sukuna himself fears Yuji's power.

Essentially, with this power, he can rip apart Sukuna's soul from Megumi's body, detaching them from each other. That is the plan that Yuta and Yuji have come up with and it will most likely come into play at some point later down the line. Fans are very excited to see this battle play out and it is going to be very interesting to see how Yuta fights inside his domain in the upcoming chapters and what Yuji does when provided the opportunity.

Jujutsu Kaisen is available to read via Viz Media. The series can be read by the fans officially and for free on the Shonen Jump and the Manga Plus app. The release date for the next chapter of JJK, Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 250, is set to be February 11, 2024.
