Nobara Kugisaki was one of Gojo's many students at Tokyo Jujutsu High School, with Nobara being a first-year student alongside Yuji and Megumi. Due to his father's death at the hands of Gojo, Megumi becomes a Jujutsu Sorcerer due to Gojo's belief that the Zenin clan would mistreat Megumi's sister, Tsumiki. Being both special-grade Jujutsu Sorcerers, the pair share a qualification barely any sorcerers have. As evidenced in Season 2, Geto and Gojo have a unique connection despite their differing views on how the jujutsu world functions.
