The Jujutsu High Schools in Japan usually serve as the base of operations for the ethical jujutsu sorcerers and the pillars of the Jujutsu Society in Japan. Though the Jujutsu High School located in Kyoto is not as relevant as its Tokyo counterpart, it is one of only two educational institutions in Japan established to develop the next generation of Jujutsu sorcerers.
While the school does not have screen time yet, it’s still a school worthy of note, with its best students showing up and taking audiences by storm during the annual Kyoto-Tokyo Sister-School Goodwill Event. Here are all the sorcerer students that attend Jujutsu High.
7 Arata Nitta
Arata Nitta is the only first-year student at Kyoto Jujutsu High and the younger brother of Akari Nitta. Arata is a sympathetic and timid person, and rightly so, due to his low volume of cursed energy. He has shown to be able to take the initiative and show guts in vital circumstances.
He is a non-combatant type of sorcerer who specializes in support. His innate technique called Painkiller allows him to stop any injuries from aggravating. He can’t heal any wounds, but he can reduce the pain inflicted by them and stop the blood loss.
6 Mai Zenin
Mai Zenin is well known for her involvement in the Goodwill Event. She was a second-year student at the time and the insufferable twin sister of Maki Zenin. Mai possesses less cursed energy than the average jujutsu sorcerer and prefers long-range battles due to her lack of physical capabilities. She is an expert marksman, capable of accurately using snipers, and even her signature revolver, to take out enemies from great distances.
Her innate technique allows her to create something out of nothing, but due to her low amount of cursed energy, she is only capable of creating a single bullet per day. At her maximum output, she was able to create a cursed tool sword.
5 Momo Nishimiya
Momo is speculated to be a semi-grade 2 jujutsu sorcerer by Panda and a third-year student at the school. She is also a non-combatant and is usually employed as support for a group of sorcerers. She specializes in recon missions and scouting, constantly relaying the opponent’s locations and movement to her allies, making her a critical piece.
Her innate technique allows her to imbue her broom with cursed energy and control it telepathically, using it to fly high over battlefields to aid her scouting and generate powerful gusts of wind to strike her opponents.
4 Miwa Kasumi
Miwa is a second-year student who stole many hearts with her fantastic personality after her introduction during the Goodwill Event. She became a jujutsu sorcerer to make money and lift the burden off her mother. She is a grade 3 sorcerer who utilizes the New Shadow Style swordsmanship technique with her semi-cursed tool sword.
She can utilize the Simple Domain and has above-average control of cursed energy. Her technique can create a circle of a 2.21-meter radius around her in which anything that enters will be instantly met with her blade. She is also capable of some of the fastest iai drawing techniques in the series.
3 Noritoshi Kamo
Noritoshi is a third-year student and a former heir to the Kamo clan. He is a natural-born leader and was raised all his life in preparation to take the helm of the Kamo clan. He has risen to the rank of semi-grade 1, allowing him to go on solo missions and supervise those of lesser rank.
Noritoshi is capable of Blood Manipulation, the prized technique of the Kamo clan, which he combines with his archery. By dipping his arrows in his blood, he can control them while they are in the air. He is capable of performing other techniques, such as increasing his physical abilities by increasing blood flow and using blood to form traps and weapons.
2 Kokichi Muta (Mechamaru)
Kokichi was a second-year student who debuted as Mechamaru. Kokichi was born with a Heavenly Restriction, which granted him a boundless amount of cursed energy capable of spreading over the entirety of Japan. In exchange for such power, he was born without his right arm, paralyzed legs, skin that could be damaged by sunlight, and pores on his skin that constantly felt like they were being poked with a needle.
His innate technique, “Puppet Manipulation,” allows him to control cursed corpse puppets over long distances, with his prized possession being Mechamaru, a puppet with multiple forms, weapons, and cannon blasters.
1 Todo Aoi
Todo is a third-year student and the only grade 1 sorcerer student in the entire series. He is a tall and built musclehead who relishes the joy of battle. Despite his size, he is incredibly swift and can match the physically gifted Yuji in speed. His preferred fighting mode is up close and personal, easily beating grade 1 cursed spirits into submission with brute force.
The force behind his hits combines efficiently with his innate technique, which allows him to swap the positions of anything with cursed energy inside a radius with a clap. He can also use the Black Flash and Simple Domain techniques which require immense cursed energy control.
