6 "I haven't shown you this one yet, have I?"

Season 1, Episode 24

Nobara

There’s nothing better than Nobara revealing a technique of hers during battle, as she uses said technique to catch her opponent off guard. This was the case during Itadori and Nobara’s battle against the Death Paintings, who had activated their Rot technique. While the curse users thought the Jujutsu sorcerers could do nothing but simply wait for their deaths, Nobara had other ideas. Despite being on the verge of death, Nobara fought with courage and vigor. With a cool line, she caught her enemy off guard with her hairpin technique.

5 "There are only so many seats open in my life..."

Season 1, Episode 24

Nobara

At the end of the first season of Jujutsu Kaisen, Itadori and Nobara faced and killed the Death Paintings. Since they weren’t curses, they were killed, not exorcised. While Itadori was down, he asked Nobara how it felt. Nobara simply replied:

"There are only so many seats open in my life, and I can’t let myself be swayed by anyone who’s not in one of them."

While Nobara does try to save everyone, she is capable of cold logic. She realizes that Jujutsu sorcerers are not gods, and they have limits. And while she would try to save everyone, when it comes down to it, she tries not to let herself get affected if it’s not someone who has a seat in her life.

4 "What makes us obligated to meet such perfection or such absurd standards?"

Season 1, Episode 17

Kugisaki

During the Kyoto Goodwill event arc, Nobara and Momo got into a fight. The Jujutsu sorcerer from Kyoto talked about the standards that women must meet and how they have it hard in society. While Momo talked about how women must be perfection in themselves, Nobara quickly dismissed her ideals and argued that women are not obligated to meet such ridiculous standards.

Unlike most women, Nobara doesn’t care about what society deems necessary for each gender to do. She simply does what she can and what she wants. It's truly a nice moment where Nobara shows she doesn’t care about societal standards and lives on her own terms.

3 "I can't be the only one going back when those two are out there fighting."

Season 2, Episode 19

Nobara

Nobara Kugisaki, Fushiguro Megumi, and Itadori Yuji have always been a team through thick and thin. However, with the level of difficulty that the jujutsu sorcerers encountered in Shibuya, the trio was split up and paired with various more powerful and experienced sorcerers. At one point, Megumi was on the verge of death after summoning Mahoraga in a bid to take care of Haruta Shigemo. At the same time, Itadori was facing his long-standing rival Mahito. And so, Nobara decided to enter the inner veil in Shibuya and join the fray.

2 "My name is Nobara Kugisaki. Be glad, boys, I'm the woman in your group."

Season 1, Episode 3

Nobara Kugisaki

Nobara is an interesting character because she provides value to her teammates just for being herself, not as a tag-along or a potential love interest. When she first met Itadori and Megumi, she introduced herself, fans wondered what kind of character she would be, and she turned out to be quite unique. When not exorcising cursed spirits, she goes shopping, and in a funny moment, she bullies Itadori and Megumi into carrying her bags.

Nobara

This quote from Nobara stands out because it serves as her last words to Itadori. As she is currently presumed dead, no one knows if Nobara will make a re-appearance or not, but her words live on. Despite being a Jujutsu sorcerer, Nobara does not embody the gloomy archetype of sorcerers, and tries to live her life to the fullest.
