Although it may have been an incomplete version of his Domain Expansion with the Ten Shadows Technique he inherited, Megumi Fushiguro's choice to push past his limits yielded a momentous conclusion to his battle against the Finger Bearer. Through a Binding Vow with which he pledged his entire life to her, Yuta Okkotsu was able to transcend the limits of his Cursed Energy to match Suguru Geto's Maximum: Uzumaki Technique during the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons.
After fully manifesting the Special Grade Cursed Spirit of Rika Orimoto, Yuta chose to give up his own life and join her in death for all eternity.
