This battle occurs during the Shibuya arc, where Yuuji encounters Choso in an abandoned building. Choso is immediately engulfed by the thought of revenge, seeing as Yuuji had previously murdered Choso’s little brothers. Choso vows to kill Yuuji as he did his brothers.

This fight is memorable because it depicts the battle's violence and the cunning nature of the two opponents, highlighting Yuuji’s frightening ability to adapt and learn under challenging circumstances. The fight is concluded with Yuuji bloodied and unconscious, with Choso retreating due to an intrusive memory of an event he supposedly has no memory of.

9 Yuuji & Todou vs. Mahito

The combination of Yuuji and Todou is always thrilling for fans, and going against Mahito was exciting. The fight takes place during the Shibuya incident of the Shibuya arc.

With Mahito killing Nobara, Yuuji’s resolve takes a significant blow, in addition to the already unfortunate events preceding her death weighing on him. Distraught and unwilling to fight, Todou rejuvenates him, and together, they take on the special-grade cursed spirit, Mahito. The battle is a complete flurry of devastating attacks and counter-attacks. The fight concludes with Yuuji’s mental evolution, Mahito’s costly defeat, and Kenjaku’s arrival.

8 Toji vs. Geto

One is blessed with unmatched physical capabilities and not an ounce of cursed energy, and the other is gifted with immense cursed energy. The two characters could not have been more contrasting despite sharing a similar ominous smile. The battle between the two sorcerers occurs at the Tombs of Star Corridor in Gojo’s past arc.

The battle, nothing more than an announcement of Toji Fushiguro into the series, sees Toji displays overwhelming strength against Geto despite not having any cursed energy. The stand-out feature of the battle is the boredom displayed by Toji while achieving this. It may have seemed one-sided, but how the action unfolds places it here, making it particularly outstanding.

7 Toji vs. Dagon

Summoned from death by Granny Ogami’s Seance technique, Toji Fushiguro appears again as he takes on the special grade cursed spirit, Dagon. During the Shibuya Incident, the battle occurs at the Shibuya station and coincides with an unlikely family reunion.

Following a prolonged fight between the special grade cursed spirit and a few Jujutsu sorcerers, Megumi included. It seems all over as Dagon envelopes them in his cursed domain. Megumi creates a hole in Dagon’s domain expansion as a last resort when Toji suddenly appears. Dagon underestimates Toji as he has no cursed energy. What follows is a spectacle of speed and power resulting in Toji’s victory. The battle is mainly outstanding due to the atmosphere of surprise overwhelming the other sorcerers as Toji defeats Dagon.

6 Maki Zenin vs. The Zenin Clan

This particular battle was necessary for the evolution of Maki as a Jujutsu sorcerer. More of a massacre rather than a fight, the struggle spans four chapters of the Perfect Preparation arc. It is easily one of the manga’s most violent displays of bloodshed.

The clash begins with Ogi Zenin’s attempt to kill Maki and her sister, Mai, partly succeeding as he kills Mai, leaving the bloodied and battered Maki with only the thought of revenge. With her sister's death, Maki begins her mission of revenge and the destruction of her clan, starting with her father, Ogi Zenin, and then kills off every remaining clan member in the wake of her revenge.

5 Sukuna vs. Mahoraga

In this battle, Sukuna once more shows battle prowess worthy of his title. The encounter takes place during the Shibuya arc. As Megumi is at death’s door, he summons the most uncontrollable Shikigami, Mahoraga of the Ten Shadows, a technique to kill off Shigemo and himself.

Sukuna, wishing to keep Megumi alive for personal reasons, tries to cease the ritual by killing off Mahoraga, which initially proves difficult as the Shikigami can adapt to any attack. With a quick display of ingenuity, Sukuna finds a sure-fire method resulting in the Shikigami’s defeat, and preserves Megumi’s life.

4 Sukuna vs. Jogo

The Undisputed King of Curses makes his first appearance since the sealing of Gojo Satoru and, in his wake, leaves a path of destruction and bloodshed, leading to the desecration of the Shibuya district. The battle is merely a result of Sukuna’s indulgence in his whims, which sees Jogo meet his demise.

Sukuna takes over Yuuji's body because Yuuji is fed multiple of the former’s fingers at once. He then makes a deal with Jogo to work with cursed spirits if Jogo can hit him. Sukuna displays overwhelming power and defeats Jogo in a battle of firepower.

3 Toji vs. Gojo

The iconic line, “I alone am the Honored one,” came from the clash between Toji & Gojo. It led Gojo to unlock the full potential of the Limitless Eyes. The battles occur in the arc of Gojo’s Past, which dives into when Gojo is still a jujutsu student at Tokyo Jujutsu High.

The two face off on two occasions, with both following after each other. Their first encounter sees Toji fiercely win against Gojo and goes on complete his bounty. Their second encounter, unsurprisingly, takes a different turn as the fight ensures Gojo’s evolution into the strongest Jujutsu sorcerer alive. The battle is especially significant as it relates to the main storyline, providing a glimpse into the power of Gojo as a sorcerer portrayed in the manga.

2 Yuki vs. Kenjaku

Kenajaku is a sorcerer widely acknowledged in the Jujutsu society for his exceptional handling of cursed energy. Despite the presence of Sukuna, the most potent curse in history, Kenjaku, history’s most evil sorcerer, is a recognition of his abilities. On the other hand, Yuki is among the elite group of jujutsu sorcerers known as the special grades, which also is a testament to her remarkable capabilities and skills.

Yuki battles Kenjaku in a fierce fight during the Culling Game arc. Yuki becomes a black hole and destroys everything, but Kenjaku survives with an anti-gravity cursed technique.

1 Gojo vs. Sukuna

The battle of the strongest, finally. The one question fans of the series have been curious about from its inception. Foreshadowed in the first chapter, the short interaction between Gojo and Sukuna left fans on edge and eager to know just one thing: who is stronger?

The most anticipated battle of the series has so far broken all expectations and even gone against the logic of the manga. One is the strongest sorcerer alive, and the other is the strongest sorcerer in history. The battle has seen logic-defying techniques and mass destruction wrapped in crude humor, but who will come out victorious in the end remains to be seen.
