This arc follows the first years on their second mission as they investigate a series of deaths at Megumi’s former school. This curse has a 100% killing record and Megumi’s sister might be on its list of targets. The first years decide to exorcise the curse wreaking havoc but they aren’t the only ones looking to exorcise this curse as Mahito’s group sends the death painting brothers, Eso and Kechizu, after the curse.

As the first years get to Yasohachi Bridge to exercise the curse, they are interrupted by the death painting brothers. This arc dives into Megumi’s character a lot more, explaining his childhood and relationship with his sister. This arc also solidifies Yuji and Nobara’s friendship, due to the events they go through together.

Following the catastrophic events of the Shibuya Incident, the Jujutsu world and Japan were changed forever, and the secret execution of Itadori that was suspended is now back in effect and special grade sorcerer Yuta Okkotsu was tasked with exorcising Itadori.

The arc reintroduces Yuta back into the story and also introduces Naoya Zenin, cousin of Maki Zenin and son of Naobito Zenin, the head of the clan. Naoya is currently looking for Megumi due to clan politics and decides to take advantage of the news about Itadori’s execution. As Itadori and Choso continue exorcising the cursed spirits roaming around Japan, they have no idea that Yuta and Naoya are close by with the same objective in mind, to kill Itadori!

The students decide to meet the omnipotent sorcerer, Master Tengen, for information on Pseudo Geto, the purpose of the culling games, and how to stop it.

But different groups are after Riko for different reasons and one of them hires the sorcerer killer Toji Fushiguro to assassinate Riko.
