Kai's notoriety mainly stems from his IRL content and pro-level skills in popular video games like Fortnite, Grand Theft Auto 5, and Call of Duty: Warzone. While Jovi Pena is a female TikTok celebrity with over 120,000 followers.
On January 6, Jovi Pena took to social media to report that she had been the victim of rape, at a New Year's Eve party hosted by Kai Cenat in New York. She also criticized Kai Cenat for failing to aid her and included screenshots of the conversation they had on the matter. On the 7th of January, in light of these serious allegations, Kai responded by stating that he unequivocally condemns any act of sexual assault, expressing his sympathy for the victim, and clarifying that he had no knowledge of the incident.
While responding to Jovi’s allegations, Kai also stated that he had immediately gone to the police after being informed of the allegations and that his lawyers had advised him not to discuss it in public. In rebuttal, Jovi has now alleged that YouTube star Kai and the other people involved in this regrettable event are refusing to cooperate with the police. She emphatically asserted that streamer Kai was being untruthful and that only she had contacted the police.
In a series of tweets, Jovi argued that if these people are indeed innocent, then why are they reluctant to cooperate? Furthermore, she made it clear that she was enraged by those who pretend to be helping her but are not actually doing so.
