Stands have become the main power system after replacing Hamon in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders. Many fans were upset by this change because Hamon was something that could be learned. Stands, on the other hand, cannot be chosen by a character, so it is impossible to alter their abilities.

Trying to get a powerful Stand is similar to trying to win the lottery, very rarely does an individual get the desired result. There have been multiple characters in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure who have been given weird Stands that are almost impossible to master. Despite the odds being against them, some of the characters still tried to understand the power of their Stands.

This list covers the base power of a Stand, so the skill of a user is not included while rating them.

7 Joseph Joestar

Joseph Joestar is the main protagonist of BattleTendency. Joseph's style of fighting was quite different from the other JoJos. Instead of relying on his physical strength to win fights, Joseph's main weapon was his high intelligence. On numerous occasions in the Battle Tendency, Joseph managed to outsmart his opponents and land a crushing defeat on them.

Joseph appeared in StardustCrusaders as he created a group to take down DIO. In comparison to the other members of his group, Joseph's Stand, Hermit Purple, was incredibly weak. He could never take on an opponent who had a better Stand than him, and had to rely on his wit to save his skin.

6 Yukako

Yukako from JoJo

Yukako is a character who appears in Diamond is Unbreakable. On the outside, Yukako seemed like an ordinary school student, but on the inside, she was rather dangerous. At some point, she developed feelings for Koichi, and wanted to be with him.

She used the power of her Stand, Love Deluxe, to hold Koichi hostage. While the Stand might grant her a decent amount of power, it is extremely susceptible to fire and all the other things that can damage hair.

5 Oingo

Oingo disguised as Jotaro

Oingo was a one of the many underlings sent by DIO to stop Jotaro's group. He was an arrogant person who believed that his Stand, Khnum, made him unbeatable, but this couldn't be further from the truth. While his Stand allowed him to change his appearance, it did not increase his physical strength by any means. If Oingo was caught in an open conflict with a Stand user, there was nothing that Khnum could do to help him out. One may argue that Khnum's ability would make Oingo an amazing assassin, but sadly, he lacked the brains for it.

4 Thunder McQueen

Thunder McQueen trying to kill himself

With his constant complaining and clinginess, Thunder McQueen came off as a nuisance. When Ermes showed him an ounce of gratitude, Thunder McQueen went berserk. He developed a crazy obsession with her and when she did not play by his rules, he decided to kill himself.

Under normal circumstances, it would have been inconsequential whether McQueen lived or died, but due to his Highway to Hell, it became a huge problem for Ermes. As he repeatedly tried to kill himself, any damage that he took was transferred to his Ermes. It is obvious that such a Stand is useless in actual combat as it relies heavily on sharing damage.

3 Koichi

Koichi in Golden Wind anime

Koichi is one of the main characters from Part 4 of the JoJo series. At the beginning, Koichi did not have a Stand, but that changed after Nijimura Keicho shot him with the Stand arrow. The arrow's bizarre properties allowed Koichi to awaken his own Stand, known as Echoes, that initially resembled an egg, so Koichi had to wait for it to be hatched.

Once it came out of its shell, Echoes assumed the shape of a larva and this form was dubbed ACT I. In this form, Echoes had a lot of range, but did not offer much physically. After evolving into ACT II, the Stand's power increased, but its range shortened. The third form of Echoes is its strongest, and it has the shortest range. The Stand can only affect one object at a time, and if the target moves away 6 meters then Echoes' power will not work. The Stand might come in handy in specific situations, but it has too many weaknesses that cannot be overlooked.

2 Carne

Carne in Golden Wind

Carne is a minor antagonist who appears in Golden Wind. He was sent by Diavolo to get rid of Bruno Bucciarati's group. Like all the villains in Part 5, Carne was also a Stand user. His Stand was Notorious B.I.G, which is invincible.

So, how does Carne find himself on the list? Even though Carne was able to summon the Stand when he was alive, it could only activate after the death of its user. So, for Notorious B.I.G to activate, Carne had to die, which made it rather pointless.

1 Masazo Kinoto

Masazo Kinoto's back exposed

Masazo Kinoto was an architect, who was sent by Yoshikage Kira's father to take out Kishibe Rohan. Unfortunately for Masazo, the Stand that he received was extremely weak. His Stand, Cheap Trick, clung to his back and did nothing. Once Masazo's back was exposed to Rohan, Cheap Trick killed its user.

This is the only ability of the Stand, and it is completely useless in combat. It causes the user to go paranoid, making it one of the worst Stands in the entire series.
