Stone Ocean is objectively one of the better JoJo parts. It boasts of an outstanding cast of characters and an intriguing storyline to go along with it. There are many iconic moments in the series, which will unquestionably live on forever in the hearts of the fans.

7 Jolyne Confronts The Debt Collector

Jolyne Cujoh-The Newest Jojo Using Her Power

In her quest to acquire the discs of her father, Jolyne had to face many tough opponents. One of the bigger tests of her character came in the fight against Miraschon. A prisoner of Green Dolphin, Miraschon was sent by Pucci to take down Jolyne and her group.

Miraschon approached them nonchalantly and asked them whether they wanted to place a bit. They had no clue that she posed a major threat to them. With her genius, Miraschon managed to trick Ermes, forcing Jolyne to spring into action. The main protagonist had to toil a lot, but thankfully, she was able to outsmart Miraschon and save Ermes.

6 Jolyne Beats Westwood

Jolyne vs Viviano Westwood

After being sent to the punishment ward, Jolyne was alone and had no one that she could rely on. This was the perfect moment for Pucci to eliminate her, so he sent four different Stand users to her location, and one of them was Viviano Westwood, a prison guard.

To start a ruckus in the punishment ward, Pucci decided to use Survivor, a Stand that used feelings of resentment to make people fight each other. Jolyne was also affected by the Stand's power and eventually, she had to fight Westwood. It took Jolyne quite some time to figure out how Westwood's Stand worked. However, once she understood the power of his Stand, she used her wit to land a critical hit. This fight was a demonstration of Jolyne's determination to save her father, which makes it a standout moment in Stone Ocean.

5 Emporio Uses Weather Report's Power

Pucci punched by Weather Report

The ending of Stone Ocean is quite controversial as Jolyne and most of her allies end up falling prey to Pucci and his Made in Heaven. Before dying, Jolyne used her Stand to send Emporio away by tying him to a dolphin.

Emporio was flabbergasted by her decision to stay behind, but she told him Pucci would have found her anyway. With the big guns dead, things weren't looking for Emporio, but he refused to back down.

Pucci was confident that his victory was assured, but little did he know that Emporio had a trump card up his sleeve. This was none other than Weather Report's Stand disc. By using the Stand's power, Emporio was able to create 100% concentrated oxygen which resulted in Pucci being poisoned. This could be considered poetic justice as previously, Weather Report was denied his revenge.

4 Pucci And DIO

DIO and Pucci in Stone Ocean

Pucci is different from the previous JoJo antagonists in several aspects. Unlike most of them, Pucci's goal was not to raise an army or to conquer the world, instead, he wanted to create a universe where everyone lived in harmony.

Needless to say, Pucci didn't always have such a massive goal, but after meeting a special individual, everything changed. No one was expecting to see a flashback where Pucci and DIO met each other. It became clear that DIO's thinking had a massive impact on Pucci's outlook on life.

3 Weather Report Goes Berserk

Weather Report Nearly beats Pucci

Weather Report was one of Jolyne's strongest allies in Stone Ocean. He was in Green Dolphin Street Prison because he wanted to uncover the mystery surrounding his past. Weather Report's past wasn't revealed until Jolyne broke out of prison.

Once Weather Report got his memories back, he understood what Pucci had done to him. This enraged Weather Report, causing him to unleash his strongest ability known as "Heavy Weather." This power almost made Weather Report invincible. With the aid of Heavy Weather, Weather Report nearly killed Pucci, who only survived by sheer luck. Seeing the main antagonist of the series cower in such a fashion was truly incredible.

2 Pucci Awakens Made In Heaven

Pucci awakens Made in Heaven

In order to achieve heaven, Enrico Pucci needed a Stand that was a lot more powerful than his Whitesnake. After fusing with DIO's bone, Pucci's Stand began to evolve. The first evolution of Whitesnake was C-Moon, a Stand that was powerful in its own right.

However, it was the final evolution of the Stand was, Made In Heaven, that stunned the eyes of the viewers. DIO considered Made In Heaven to be the ultimate Stand, as it had the power to transform the entire universe. Seeing Pucci finally awaken the Stand was nothing short of amazing.

1 Jotaro Protects Jolyne

Jotaro loses his discs

At the beginning of the series, Jolyne openly stated that she despised her father for the way he treated his family. When Jolyne landed in prison, she wasn't expecting to meet Jotaro, and when they did, there was a great deal of tension between them and understandably so as Jolyne didn't want anything to do with him. A few minutes after they had begun their conversation, the two of them were attacked by Whitesnake and Johngalli A. Things looked grim for the father and daughter duo, but somehow they managed to get out of the room.

As they made their way to the exit, Jotaro and Jolyne were confronted by the sniper. In order to protect his daughter from harm, Jotaro stopped time and pushed her out of harm's way. However, this allowed Whitesnake to attack him and steal both his discs. What makes this moment special is that Jotaro was finally able to get through to Jolyne, and he reassured her that he always cared about her.MORE: Scariest JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Characters
