Shamier Anderson (Stowaway, Love Jacked, & Awake) posted a video letting fans know that a storm will be coming to John Wick 4. In the video, fans can see him doing intense physical training for the upcoming and long-anticipated Keanu Reeves sequel.

John Wick 4 is the fourth installment in the John Wick action-adventure series, which follows the titular character as he sets his eyes on revenge against the people who robbed him of the little bit of happiness he was holding on to. Nothing is more dangerous than a person with nothing to lose. Without spoiling the plot, this next installment follows John at his lowest point ,with his eyes set on those who went behind his back and betrayed him.

Anderson was reportedly cast in a major role for John Wick 4, but details of it have been very scarce. Based on the film's track record, as well as the video he posted on his Instagram, expect to see Anderson in a combat-heavy role. He may even be pit against Reeves' character, which will make for some really brutal fight scenes.

The video showed Anderson doing a wide variety of training that will make him into a "suitable assassin" for John Wick 4. His process included weapon training (assault rifles, handguns, and sniper rifles), weight training with a barbell, incline treadmill running with a weighted vest, calisthenic training (pull-ups) with a weighted vest on, and even some cardio with a jump rope as well as weighted ropes.

John Wick, as of now, is not known to have many allies, if any. Trust is hard to come by in the films and people seem to only help him out of necessity or if they owe him something, so there's no telling if Anderson's character will be one of those individuals or someone out to kill him. Fans already are excited to see Star Wars: Rogue One's Donnie Yen be cast for this film, so the expectations are high for this upcoming action-thriller.

Despite the excitement, some are worried about how long the John Wick franchise will last and if it will get stale after a while. For now, it stands the test of time for American audiences since there aren't too many action film competitors that have fight scenes on par with this franchise. The scenes are shot in long takes with the camera far from the action, so it feels as if it's actually happening, rather than the quick cuts and close shots that many viewers are used to. They also announced potential spin-off ideas to explore more of the universe that was set up in this world beginning in John Wick 2.
