It has been over a week since Peacemaker premiered on HBO Max and John Cena already believes his character is the best superhero thus far. In a fun video posted by the streaming service on social media, Cena compares his Peacemaker to Batman and several other heroes in the DC Extended Universe and offers an explanation as to why he is better than all of them.

In the new video shared by HBO Max, Cena compares Peacemaker to the likes of Superman, Batman, The Flash, Shazam, and Wonder Woman, among others. Most of the characters receive absolutely no respect from the quirky anti-hero, but he does recognize some of them as perhaps his equals due to their “cool” superpowers.

Beginning with Henry Cavill's Superman, one of the most popular and powerful heroes in the DCEU, Peacemaker jokes about his red cape. “Isn’t his cape like the blanket when he was a baby,” he questions, before mocking the hero for not being able to fight bad guys without his “blankie.” When it comes to Zachary Levi's Shazam, Cena can’t even get past the hero’s name. “Is that even a question?” he quips.

The first time he seems a little impressed with any of the other heroes is when Jason Momoa's Aquaman pops up on screen. “Dude looks like he lifts,” and being able to do so underwater earns Cena's “mad respect.” However, Batman does not make the cut because “his name doesn’t even make sense.” In Cena's opinion, bats are able to “echolocate,” or track the location of an object based on reflected sound, but Batman is incapable of doing so.

Pecemaker's The Suicide Squad companions also appear in the list of heroes that he is better than, including Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn, Sylvester Stallone's King Shark, Nathan Fillion's T.D.K., and Sean Gunn's Weasel. For the latter, Cena is ready to disqualify the character from the list. “I’m not even going to dignify the suggestion that Weasel might be better than Peacemaker,” he is heard saying. But, the only hero he is even slightly impressed with is David Dastmalchian's Polka-Dot Man for literally being able to shoot polka-dots from his hands.

The first three episodes of Peacemaker premiered on January 13, with it now releasing episodes in a weekly format on HBO Max. The series, which is a spin-off from The Suicide Squad, tells the story of Cena's fan-favorite character Peacemaker working with another team of misfits on a entirely different mission from the film. Apart from Cena, the series stars Danielle Brooks, Freddie Stroma, Chukwudi Iwuji, Jennifer Holland, Steve Agee, and Robert Patrick.
