The actress recently hit huge success with her portrayal of Wednesday Addams in the new Netflix series, rocketing her into the spotlight. A spotlight noticed by Twitch streamer and associate of Andrew Tate, Adin Ross. Ross is known for streaming NBA 2K and GTA 5, as well as having talk shows with Andrew Tate where the two discussed their views on women. He first began sending her DMs in 2021 From appearances alone, Ross looks to have realized it wasn't going to happen and made his exit, but there are a few reasons fans believe that wasn't the case. A bot called BigStreamAlerts that tracks who major Twitch streamers follow or unfollow alerted fans that Ross unfollowed Ortega three days after the initial tweet, however, they reason that since Ross is still following Ortega's brother it's unlikely he was the one to make the decision. When a Twitter user blocks someone, the person they blocked will also appear to have unfollowed them.
It isn't confirmed yet exactly what happened, but there are reasons for fans to believe Wednesday star Jenna Ortega blocked Ross. For one, the two are completely different and have never met. And for two, it makes little sense for Ross to spend years trying to get her attention to suddenly unfollow her three days after asking her out. It's respectable enough of Ross to shoot his shot if all he did was ask her out to dinner, but Ross has also been sending her direct messages. In a recent stream, he revealed his DMs, and she had yet to reply. Some of the viewers in Adin's chat urged him to take the tweet down as they felt it wouldn't be good for him since it could be harassment, but Ross refused.
Following his Twitch ban Ross has a bit of free time to digest his apparent rejection. He composed his initial Tweet with the help of his fans, who he urged to join in on his quest to get her attention by using the hashtag "#adinxjenna," and it immediately went viral. The tweet had over 100,000 likes in under 24 hours and the hashtag was still trending yesterday. Jenna Ortega hasn't officially responded to Ross and there's no word if she ever will.
