AEW star and Mega Cat's Executive Producer of Wrestling Jeff Jarrett wishes he had the chance to work with Andre the Giant and Jake "The Snake" Roberts, two legends that are featured in the upcoming WrestleQuest video game. Jeff Jarrett's career has spanned decades and has seen him step in the ring with some of the industry's biggest names. And since Jarrett's in-ring career isn't over, he still has the chance to square off against many more wrestling stars in the years to come.

Over the course of his career, Jeff Jarrett has wrestled just about every big name from the 90s and 2000s. Having worked at WWE, WCW, TNA, and now AEW, there aren't many wrestlers who haven't had some kind of on-screen interaction with Jarrett. This includes some of the legends featured in the WrestleQuest video game, though Jarrett never had the chance to wrestle Andre the Giant or Jake Roberts.

Game ZXC recently spoke with Jeff Jarrett and the WrestleQuest developers about the new game and Jarrett's career. We asked Jarrett if there are any currently active wrestlers he would still like to work with or if there were any legends in WrestleQuest that he didn't get to work with but wishes he had. Jarrett said, "It's real simple: Andre the Giant. He was definitely on the tail-end of his career when I was breaking in, but he worked for my father off and on for shots in the late 70s, little early 80s." Jarrett also pointed out how he never wrestled Jake Roberts. "There's a long line of 80s mega stars that I did never really get to step in the ring with," Jarrett said.

As for modern wrestling stars he'd like to work with, Jarrett stopped short of providing specific names. "I'm lucky enough that I'm still stepping in the ring. Not every Wednesday, but a lot of Wednesdays on AEW Dynamite. So who knows who the opponents will be, but never say never." Jarrett's next match on AEW Dynamite is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, August 16 with Jarrett facing off against Jeff Hardy in a Texas Chain Saw Massacre Deathmatch to promote the upcoming asymmetrical multiplayer horror game The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.

Wrestling fans can tune in to AEW Dynamite on Wednesday to see Jarrett fight Jeff Hardy, while gaming fans can cross paths with Jarrett in the WrestleQuest video game a little bit later on this month.

WrestleQuest launches August 22 for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
