Warner Bros. has announced the release of Injustice 2 Legendary Edition, which will feature the game's original roster plus all its downloadable content since its launch in May 2017. The new edition of the superhero fighting game will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on March 27.

This new and improved version of Injustice 2 will feature all the DLC characters that have been introduced to the game, including Darkseid, Red Hood, Starfire, Sub-Zero, Black Manta, Raiden, Hellboy, Atom, Enchantress, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The Legendary Edition will also feature premiere skins, including Power Girl, John Stewart Green Lantern, Reverse-Flash, Grid, and Black Lightning. Premiere skins each have a unique look, voice, and dialogue.

But new fighters and cosmetic upgrades aren't all the Legendary Edition has to offer. The edition will also bring some enhancements to the game, such as an expanded tutorial called the Learn Hub, new gear items for all characters, and an increased character level cap (to 30). Additionally, a new augment slot will be unlocked upon reaching level 30.

Injustice 2 was very well-received by many players and critics, thanks to its lengthy story-based campaign, great fighting experience, and its excellent translation of superhero comics to another medium. It even came out as May's top-selling game last year against titles such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Prey, which was impressive given its mid-month release.

A Day 1 Edition of Injustice 2: Legendary Edition will be available to pre-order soon. By purchasing this edition of the game, players will receive a collectible coin, a "comic exclusive download steel card," 11,000 Source Crystals to use in-game, and a steel case.

No official price has been announced yet for the game, but an Amazon listing that has since been taken down clued that the Legendary Edition would set players back $60 for all its features - not a bad deal for players that have yet to invest in the game.

Injustice 2 Legendary Edition will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on March 27, 2018.
