After a lengthy break from news near the end of 2016, it has been full steam ahead the past few weeks for NetherRealm Studios and its upcoming fighter, Injustice 2. Similar to a previous trailer showing off some of the femme fatales, NetherRealm's latest trailer highlights a number of bad guys on the roster like Gorilla Grodd and Bane. What may have fans more excited however, is the official gameplay reveals of Captain Cold and the previously announced mobile character, Scarecrow.

Known as 'It's Good To Be Bad', the trailer highlights all four characters with a bit of pre-match dialogue and short clips of some of their abilities in a match. While fans have already gotten a good glimpse of Grodd after his reveal last year, this is the first time fans are getting a look at actual gameplay of the other three characters in Injustice 2. As one would expect, the muscle-bound villain Bane features a lot of grapple style moves – including headbutts, backbreakers, and a massive suplex maneuver.

After being shown very briefly in a story trailer, Captain Cold makes his official debut, and he's armed with plenty of ice-based puns. The cold enhanced villain uses his gun to not only freeze enemies a la Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat, but it appears he can also create ice walls which can be kicked into his opponents as well. As these things go, his super move looks to be very flashy, as he essentially builds a spiraling ice slide flinging projectiles at his foe before reaching the top and dropping a massive ice block down on top of them.

Finally, Scarecrow was originally shown off with the mobile game which led many to believe his inclusion to the main game's roster as well. Now that it's official, Scarecrow utilizes a massive hook and chain almost like a whip along with a move where he blows what appears to be a poison gas into the face of his opponent. His super move has him using the hook to drag his foe into some sort of nightmare realm where a massive version of himself dishes out the punishment.

With the roster quickly being filled out, who else are you hoping to see before the game launches in May? Let us know what you're thinking in the comment section.
