11 “Don’t Call Me Junior!”
Throughout the entirety of The Last Crusade, Henry Jones Sr. gets on his son’s nerves. Indy is tired of being called junior, time and time again. His dad knows he likes the name Indiana, and as a man, he doesn’t like being called Junior any longer.
The moment itself comes from Indy rescuing his dear old dad. Their touching reunion is cut short thanks to Nazis, but Indy uses his aggression towards his father, “Don’t call me junior!” to grab a machine gun and fire upon the Nazi soldiers keeping them in place.
10 “No Ticket!”
When Indy and his father board a zeppelin in The Last Crusade, they are hunted by a Nazi officer. However, Indy always has a trick up his sleeve and disguises himself as a ticket officer for the zeppelin.
Indy confronts the Nazi officer and punches him out the window to land on the luggage below. Indy then straightens his jacket, declaring to the passengers watching, “No ticket!” thus prompting the panicked passengers to show their tickets to avoid a similar fate. It’s a great comedic moment.
9 “Snakes. Why Did It Have To Be Snakes?”
To check what dangers lurk in the temple below, Indiana Jones throws down a lit torch to shed some light on his serpent friends. Upon seeing the river of snakes below, Indy rests his head on the ground, defeated that he has to enter a pit filled with snakes, his greatest fear.
Indy’s delivery of “Snakes. Why did it have to be snakes?” is hilarious, due to how tiresome he sounds of his gravest fear. What makes it even better is Sallah’s comedic line “Very dangerous. You go first.”
8 “I’m Making This Up As I Go.”
Indy, Sallah, and Marion watch as the Nazis transport a valuable truck in Raiders of the Lost Ark. When Indy tells his crew that he’s going to find a way to stop the truck, he says it with such confidence that his next line of “I’m making this up as I go” all the more humorous for alleviating tension.
Indy always specializes in his sharp wit and quick thinking, and Raiders of the Lost Ark proves just that. He’s a character who doesn’t hesitate to leap head-first into danger and only questions his safety after he’s in the thick of it.
7 “X Never, Ever Marks The Spot.”

One of the most comedic moments in all of the Indiana Jones films is when Sallah finds out that Indiana Jones named himself after the family dog, Indiana. Indiana quickly retorts, “I’ve got a lot of fond memories of that dog.”
It’s hilarious that a guy who has a name as cool as Indiana Jones is named after a dog. What makes it even funnier is the fact that Indiana Jones defends his namesake, as he liked that dog.

The opening sequence of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull gives quite the build-up to the triumphant return of the titular hero, who hadn’t been seen on film for decades. However, Indy’s first scene doesn’t have him running from a boulder, but instead, the hostage of Russian soldiers, with guns pointed at him in every direction.
A disgruntled and older Indiana Jones simply says, “Not as easy as it used to be.”, seemingly unphased by the literal army of soldiers pointing their guns at him. Indy always stands defiant, and it's fun to see him not comply, and always act so hard-headed.

Not only does Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull dip its toe into the sci-fi genre, but it also borrows an iconic line from Star Wars. The franchises have been connected a few times, thanks to the creator of George Lucas, but “I’ve got a bad feeling about this.” Stands out the most, especially when the line was first spoken by Harrison Ford’s Han Solo in the original 1977 Star Wars movie.
To hear Harrison Ford say the line again may bring a bout of nostalgia for fans of Star Wars, considering he hadn’t said that line for over 30 years. However, some fans might also notice that it’s the wrong franchise, but it all adds to the charm of the quote.

The chemistry between Indiana Jones and Henry Jones Sr. was one of the best parts of The Last Crusade. Sadly, Henry Jones Sr.’s character died off-screen before Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. The father-son duo was brilliant, and it’s somewhat captured with the relationship between Mutt and Indiana.
Indy can’t help but see his stubborn younger self in Mutt, and he looks to the sky and says. “Somewhere, your grandpa is laughing.” It’s a nice nod to Henry Jones Sr., a great character from the Indiana Jones series that fans would have loved to see the beloved Sean Connery return to. But, at the time, he was retired and has since passed.

There’s no secret to Indiana Jones’ love life. The character has had a fair share of romantic relations over the years, but there’s one problem he faced with all of them: they were not Marion Ravenwood. With Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Indy reunites with Marion years after their separation and says to her about the women in his life, “There were a few, but they all had the same problem. They weren’t you, honey.”
