For players working their way through the spell-binding story of Immortals of Aveum, an assortment of puzzles and challenges will test their brainpower and skills with the three magic types in the game. One of the many mysteries in the game is a crystal puzzle that prevents players from entering the Pale Forest, a key area in the progression of the game's narrative.
The key to unlocking the Pale Forest door in Immortals of Aveum is actually in plain sight if players know where to look and how to utilize Jak's many magical abilities. That said, players experiencing this area for the first time may struggle with figuring out what needs to be done due to the puzzle's unusual solution.
How to Solve The Pale Forest Entrance Puzzle
In order to open the Pale Forest entrance door, players will need to hit the three colored magic symbols in succession. This will require that each symbol is hit with the correct colored magic. However, at first glance, players will notice that the blue magic crystal appears to be missing. For those with a keen eye, using one of Jak's alternative spells will reveal the location of the missing crystal and solve the puzzle in no time.
Players will need to strike three colored crystals in order to open the door; one red, one green, and one blue. The red one is positioned on the ground to the left of the door and the green one is mounted above it. However, the blue one appears to be missing, but players will instead find a large tree branch to the right of the door with a green glyph on it.
Using Jak's Animate spell, which is granted to players during their trials with Kirkan, gamers will be able to bring the tree branch to life and have it descend lower to the ground. At the end of this branch, players will find the blue crystal. From there, it is a simple matter of striking each crystal with the corrected colored magic and watching the great stone door open itself for Jak to walk through.
