The fantasy series I'm Quitting Heroing has released a new key visual mid-season, as well as a two-minute promotional video. The anime's first episode premiered on April 5 with new episodes every Tuesday since.

I'm Quitting Heroing is an anime adaptation of a comedic fantasy light novel by the same name. Both the anime and the source material follow the same story of Leo Demonheart, who at the start of the story defeats the army of Demon Queen Echidna. He returns to the kingdom he hails from, expecting admiration, but is instead met with distrust. The humans in the kingdom he comes from believing that if he is powerful enough to defeat the Demon Queen's army, he must be too powerful to be trusted.

Leo Demonheart is subsequently banished from his home kingdom. He becomes a drifter until he hears of Demon Queen Echidna wanting to rebuild the same army Leo Demonheart had defeated. He comes up with a fake identity, a masked entity named Onyx, to become a member of this army to learn why the Demon Queen started the war in the first place. He soon finds out the Queen's true intentions, which are far less sinister than he was led to believe when he was a hero.

A new key visual was released, featuring six of the characters from the series. It features Demon Queen Echidna in the center, surrounded by five other characters, all with a significantly more serious look than the previous, light-hearted key visual.

Along with the key visual a new 'climax' promotional video, a promotional video advertising the climatic events of a currently airing anime was released through Kadokawa. It features many tense moments from the anime and an explanation of Demon Queen Enchidna's true intentions. Although it does not have English subtitles yet, the auto-translate feature in the Youtube subtitles is enabled for this video.

The video also announces the release of the second ending theme "de messiah", sung by Nao Tōyama, who has sung many anime themes in the past including the original ending theme for I'm Quitting Heroing, as well as the main theme for Nisekoi, in which she also played one of the main love interests, Chitoge Kirisaki. The ending theme will be released on June 8th this year, on the album "Ano Hi no Kotoba / Growing".
