2 Kurapika's Chains

In the Hunter x Hunter anime, when confronted by Mereum, king of the chimera ants, Netero used all of his strength, yet was still defeated. Netero used the miniature rose to put an end to the chimera ant king after he had exhausted all other options and Mereum was still alive.
The miniature rose is a weapon so powerful that it is utilized only when the fate of humanity is at risk. As it explodes, it generates a tremendous quantity of heat and energy that can easily destroy any living thing. There is no way for any living thing to survive the enormous cloud of deadly radiation released by the explosion. Although Mereum survived the initial explosion in the Hunter x Hunter series, he was finally killed by the poisonous radiation that was released into the air.
