Humble Bundle's monthly subscription service, Humble Choice, has revealed its latest batch of game keys for subscribers to claim. The keys range anywhere from large titles like Mass Effect Legendary Edition to lesser known titles like Evan's Remains. While the bigger games will attract subscribers to Humble Choice, the smaller games will keep them engaged for hours.
Over the years Humble Choice has been a great way for subscribers to discover new titles and fill out their Steam libraries. For just $11.99/month, five percent of which goes to charity, subscribers get access to a whole host of titles every single month. They range in size, quality, and genre; there is always something for everyone. This month, subscribers will be able to add eight different games to their library.
Desperados 3
Desperados 3 is the third title in the Desperados series and serves a prequel to the first game, Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive. Players are put in control of five unique characters all with their own set of skills. They must fight their way through the Wild West on a quest for redemption. The game itself is a top-down hardcore stealth game filled with a hard hitting story. Players have to be ready for anything, as this game is not an easy title to beat. It will take some patience and strategy if gamers want to make it to the final showdown.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition
Pretty much everyone has either played Mass Effect or heard of it. Bioware's expansive science fiction trilogy has been enthralling gamers for years. Mass Effect Legendary Edition bundles all three games from the Mass Effect trilogy - Mass Effect: Andromeda is not included in this pack. Each title has been remastered and optimized for 4K UHD, and comes bundled with over 40 DLC packs. The trilogy follows Commander Shepard, a legendary sci-fi hero that the player creates, as they try to save the galaxy. Players will have to make tough choices as they progress through the story, which impact the entire trilogy. This is the only game in the bundle that does not come with a Steam key; subscribers will be given an Origin key instead.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is essentially Super Smash Bros Nickelodeon Edition. The game lets players choose between a whole host of different Nickelodeon characters, including Spongebob and Invader Zim, and has them battle it out on 20 different themed levels. Each level is themed after a different cartoon, like Spongebob's Jellyfish Fields or the Western Air Temple from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Each character has their own unique move set inspired by their personality. The game allows for up to four player local or online play, and it is surely a treat for any Nickelodeon fan.
The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan
In 2019, Supermassive games kicked off its Dark Pictures Anthology series, a series of stand-alone horror titles, with The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan being the first title. Five friends set sail on a holiday diving trip but soon learn that the ship they are aboard is actually haunted. Players must then go through a terrifying story as they try to survive the ghost ship. Around every corner is a danger that will make anyone scream. Players can attempt to get through the title alone, with a friend online, or with five friends locally.
Red Solstice 2: Survivors
Red Solstice 2: Survivors brings players to the year 117 After Earth, the future. They are given command of the Cell, a secret taskforce that must counter the threat of the STROL mutant invasion. Players must take command and fight through hordes of mutants so that they can find a cure to the virus that threatens to kill humankind. They must undertake RTS combat missions using six different unique classes. The game can be played with up to six players, who all get to destroy mutant hordes together. There are over 15 different main missions and more than 20 side missions for players to undertake.
Nebuchadnezzar
Sometimes, all someone wants to do is sink hours into a city builder, and that is where Nebuchadnezzar comes in. The game tasks players with building up a city in ancient Mesopotamia, and gamers can either free build a city or experience a campaign where they rule over various influential historical cities. Players have to manage agriculture goods, solve various problems, trade with other cities, and take care of different population classes. They can also construct large scale monuments. The game is a great city builder for beginners and genre experts, and it even allows mods so that players can drastically change the game.
Police Stories
In Police Stories, players are given control of the police in a top-down shooter inspired by SWAT 4 and gritty police TV shows. They have to neutralize criminals, rescue civilians, and defuse bombs in either single-player or online co-op. Each mission is unforgiving and tense, Players will have to be prepared for anything that the game throws at them, as each level is unique and the game randomly places obstacles throughout. Criminals will also react different depending upon their status, as a small petty criminal will not be as aggressive as a terrorist. If a game has ever wanted to control the police, then Police Stories may just be the game for them.
Evan's Remains
The final game in the March 2022 Humble Choice is Evan's Remains. Evan's Remains is unlike any other game in the bundle, as it is a mystery-thriller puzzle adventure about finding a lost boy named Evan. The game is inspired by Japanese graphic adventure games and sends players off to an uninhabited island in search of Evan. They play as Dysis, a mysterious girl that players learn more about as the game progresses. There are puzzles galore here, and players will have to think hard if they want to progress through the story.
Anyone who wants to get ahold of these games has until April 4 to subscribe on Humble Bundle's website. On April 5, a whole new batch of games will be revealed.
