Call of the Sea

Call Of The Sea

Call of the Sea is a classic mystery adventure game that genre fans have come to expect. Players take control of Norah, a woman who finds herself on a nameless island as she searches for her husband's expedition. They will have to traverse this tropical island and find out the truth. On their journey, they will explore ancient ruins and dive deep into the ocean as they uncover clues that hint at what may have happened. Players who want to explore the unknown may get lost in Call of the Sea, while mystery fans may spend hours dissecting every clue.

Gamedec

RPG fans may find a lot of fun in the cyberpunk isometric RPG Gamedec. Players take control of a game detective who must solve crimes in virtual worlds. They will have to investigate various crimes in various virtual worlds, and along the way, they will make choices that can change the trajectory of their character. They will have to interact with numerous NPCs and make some friends if they want to discover the truth, and they will also make more than a few enemies along the way. Unlike other games in the genre however, Gamedec describes itself as a non-combat RPG, and it may be a fun break from the many combat focused games out there.

I am Fish

A seagull flying in to hit the piranha in I Am Fish

While the previous two games were pretty serious titles, I am Fish is far from it. The game puts players in control of a fish as they try to get to the open ocean. Players will roll through the streets, fly through the skies, and swim as far as they can until they get to freedom. The game is a physics-based adventure similar to titles like Goat Simulator and may be just as wild. The game promises some pretty funny moments and may elicit a few chuckles from the player as they roll around in a fishbowl.

Phoenix Point: Year One Edition

Back in 2019, the creators of X-Com released a brand-new strategy game called Phoenix Point. The game brought players to an Earth that had been overrun by a mutating alien force that wanted to wipe out the last sliver of humanity. Players had to build up bases and assemble a team to battle against this menace in hopes that they could beat it back. Phoenix Point: Year One Edition takes that game and bundles it with all the post-launch DLC up until 2020, and promises to be the definitive version. For those who want a challenging and high stakes strategy game, Phoenix Point may provide just that.

Pumpkin Jack

Pumpkin Jack puts players in control of a living and breathing pumpkin who seeks to annihilate the good. They must follow the will of the Devil and embark on an epic adventure through numerous cartoon settings. They will fight hordes of enemies and solve puzzles to cleanse various realms of anything good. Along their journey, they will be able to recruit allies to fight alongside them and will become a master at fighting like a pumpkin.

Siege Survival: Gloria Victis

Siege Survival: Gloria Victis takes the strategy genre to a medieval city under siege. Players are put in charge of the last soldiers of the city and have to hold out until the reinforcements arrive. They must construct their camp, manage their resources, and gather supplies from the fallen city if they want to survive. Their camp will continually be attacked by the enemy as they try to snuff out the last bastion of resistance in the besieged city. It is a challenging game that will test the player as they desperately defend themselves in hopes that the reinforcements make it before they are slaughtered.

Star Wars Squadrons

Off the heels of the controversial Star Wars Battlefront 2 and the critically acclaimed Jedi: Fallen Order, EA Star Wars was in a weird spot. Seemingly out of nowhere came Star Wars Squadrons. Developed by Motive Studio, Squadrons gave Star Wars fans the ability to live out their fighter pilot dreams. The game puts them in the cockpit of various starfighters during the last days of The Empire and the rise of The New Republic. The flight mechanics are pretty in-depth, but also very approachable. The game features a single-player campaign set after Return of the Jed along with a five versus five multiplayer modes where players battle it out for supremacy in space. Unlike other games in the bundle, players must have Origin if they want to redeem this title.

Superhot: Mind Control Delete

The final game in the June 2022 bundle is Superhot: Mind Control Delete. Most gamers have either heard of or played the original title, but Mind Control Delete is the next game in the franchise and expands the world of Superhot. Players must fight through multiple levels where things only move when they move. They will kill countless amounts of red men as they uncover just what is going on while becoming more powerful. The game can be pretty hard at times, and it offers a decent amount of content to fight through. Fans of the original will feel right at home in this sequel, and it is also a good time for newcomers.

Anyone who is interested in snagging this month's bundle has until July 4 to subscribe on Humble Bundle's website. On July 5, a whole new batch of games will be revealed and the June bundle will be gone forever.

Humble Choice for June 2022 is available now until July 4.
