Curse of the Dead Gods is an indie roguelike that takes place inside a creepy accursed temple. Players must fight their way through this infinite maze of traps and monsters as they seek riches and divine powers. They will fight through massive hordes, destroy powerful creatures, overcome deadly obstacles, and collect powerful relics as they head deeper. Just like every roguelike before it, death is not the end but instead a learning opportunity, and with each new run comes new powerful curses that will alter every action. It has everything fans of the genre could want and should be a fun time killer for the next couple of months.

Eternal Threads

Humble Choice loves its monthly story-driven puzzle games, and that is where Eternal Threads comes in. The game puts players in the shoes of an operative tasked with fixing a corrupted timestream in England in May 2015. They must do everything they can to save six people from a house fire, but they cannot simply put the fire out. Instead, players will have to navigate a seven-day timeline to manipulate the residents' choices so that they survive the impending disaster.

Every decision the residents make will alter something about the future, and it is up to the player to figure out what they need to do to survive. Anyone that wants to check it out before picking up the bundle can head over to Steam and download a free demo right now.

Ghostwire Tokyo

Ghostwire: Tokyo cover vertical

Ghostwire Tokyo is the headlining title in this month's Humble Choice bundle, and it is definitely worth a playthrough. It whisks players away to a Tokyo overrun by deadly supernatural forces and tasks them with discovering the truth behind the population's disappearance.

They must utilize powerful elemental powers and ghost-hunting abilities to combat supernatural threats as they traverse this eerie version of Tokyo. There is a ton of content to enjoy here, and Tango Gameworks even added a roguelike mode for those that want an extra challenge. Anyone that wants to get a taste of this world can also download the visual novel Ghostwire Tokyo: Prelude for free.

Grime

Grime

Grime is a creepy indie action-RPG that is not for the faint of heart. Players enter an alien and unfamiliar world filled with terrors around every corner, and it is up to them to discover what resides within. It has all the hallmarks of the genre but with one major twist. As players defeat enemies, they can absorb them and use their traits against them. They are also given immense freedom in how they build their character, the combat is exhilarating, and the world is beautifully realized. Grime also features a free demo for anyone that wants to check it out before committing to the bundle.

Honey, I Joined a Cult

Honey, I Joined a Cult

Honey, I Joined a Cult may sound like Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, but it could not be more different. Honey, I Joined a Cult puts players in control of their very own cult and tasks them with making it the best that it can be. All the classic base-building and management features are here, and it is presented to players via a cute art style reminiscent of Prison Architect and Rimworld. They must do everything they can to make their cult the strongest in the world, but it will be no easy task.

Meeple Station

Meeple Station

Meeple Station is also a management game, but this one takes place in an isometric pixel-art space station. Players must build and manage their own space station, and then engage in classic sci-fi shenanigans. They must learn to trade with others, collect an assortment of resources, fend off invading pirates, and even spread out into the larger solar system. It is inspired by games like Dwarf Fortress and Rimworld and may be worth a playthrough. While it may have mixed reviews on Steam, some management fans may still find something to enjoy here.

Remnant: From the Ashes

Remnant: From the Ashes brings players to a post-apocalyptic world overrun with deadly enemies. They must fight to restore humanity against insurmountable odds by themselves or with two other players. It is not an easy game, but players who are looking for a challenge may want to check it out. The Humble Choice bundle includes both DLC packs, so the Remnant fun will never have to end. This addition comes at the perfect time as its sequel Remnant 2 is set to release on July 25.

Turbo Golf Racing

The final game in the Humble Choice bundle is Turbo Golf Racing. This game takes the concept of Rocket League and puts it on the golf course for a brand-new arcade experience. Up to eight players can compete in high-stakes golf races as they try to see who can get their ball into the hole first. They will use a variety of items, the map terrain, and secret pathways to win the day. It is a wild concept that can result in hours of fun shenanigans if enough players are queued in.

Humble Choice for June 2023 is available now until July 4.
