One of the biggest games in April 2023's Humble Choice is Aliens: Fireteam Elite. This game puts players in control of a squad in the Alien franchise, and sends them off to uncover the mysteries of a new planet. They will have to overcome hordes of Xenomorphs as they desperately fight to survive, and it can be played solo or with another player. Anyone looking for an intense shooter to play may want to keep their eye on this one.

Death Stranding Director's Cut

The big headlining title for this month's Humble Choice is undoubtedly Death Stranding Director's Cut. Hideo Kojima brings players to a decimated America in the shoes of courier Sam Porter Bridges. This version of the game includes new content, including a crossover with Half-Life and Cyberpunk 2077. While it may not be for everyone, with criticisms levied at how not engaging its gameplay can be at times, anyone looking for a unique experience may want to give it a shot.

Founder's Fortune

Founder's Fortune

Founder's Fortune gives players the experience of sitting back, relaxing, and building up a small medieval-esque village colony. Players must design buildings, provide villagers with food, and ensure that they are protected from all the dangers of the world. They will have to manage their day-to-day life, and hopefully grow a successful colony in the process. Fans of games like Cities Skylines and Rimworld will know what to expect, and it could quickly become a new favorite.

At least one platformer tends to make it into Humble Choice, and this month has the roguelite platformer Revita. Revita challenges players to climb an ominous clock tower to reclaim their lost memories, overcoming challenging boss fights and procedurally generated rooms with mechanics focused on maintaining the protagonist's health. It has all the hallmarks of the roguelite genre, and with developer BenStar working on a massive revamp, now is a great game to get in and kill some time.

Rollerdrome

Rollerdrome brings players to the year 2030, where they must compete in the brutal new blood sport Rollerdrome. The game puts players in the shoes of a person attempting to become the Rollerdrome champion and uncover the true intentions of its creator. Players will roll, flip, and fly across multiple stages as they shoot their way to victory in a cartoonish cel-shaded world. The developers promise an action experience unlike any other, and the game certainly makes good on that promise.

The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante

The final game in April 2023's Humble Choice bundle is The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante, a narrative-driven RPG that follows a man attempting to carve out his own destiny in a merciless world. It is told through the pages of the protagonist's journal for a unique aesthetic, and every choice that the player makes will shape what comes next.

There are a lot of unique games to try through Humble Choice this month, and subscribers also gain access to the Humble Games Collection that offers even more exciting titles like Ghost Song, Signalis, and Moonscars. Players who are interested in this particular bundle have until May 1 to claim it, and with Humble Bundle's offerings seeming to get stronger every month, hopefully that trend continues as the year goes on.

Humble Choice for April 2023 is available until May 1.
