In the last two years, a very important question has been thrown into the gaming discourse. Simply enough, it is the crucial question of knowing if a game allows players to pet the dog. With more games like Fortnite introducing dog petting, one digital store decided to celebrate the canine companions.

Humble Bundle is embracing this new trend of judging a game's worth by measuring its dog petting capability by bundling five games confirmed to feature good boys. For $12 players can grab eight titles all set to have some doggy goodness.

For the lowest tier of $1, players will get Scribblenauts Unlimited, Beyond Eyes, Dog Sled Saga, and Bulb Boy. At $4.71 buyers can get the Shenmue 1 and 2 HD Collection as well as Where the Water Tastes Like Wine and Death's Gambit. Finally for the jump to $12 with the final tier, purchasers unlock Bloober Team's Blair Witch that includes the "Good Boy Pack." This DLC pack provides some customization options for Blair Witch's dog companion Bullet alongside animation improvements.

While it might seem odd that dog petting became a serious consideration for games, the idea actually originated via Twitter. The "Can You Pet The Dog?" Twitter account started last year and became an internet sensation. Humble Bundle even worked alongside "Can You Pet The Dog?" who tweeted about their involvement.

It's a solid list of games at a great price and as is usual with Humble Bundle, the proceeds go towards charities and in this case most are related to animal causes. So for those looking for some virtual dogs to pet, Humble has you covered.

The Humble "You Can Pet the Dog" Bundle is available for purchase until October 1.
