The existence of a special edition of Human: Fall Flat has been leaked online. And it's all thanks to its ESRB rating dropping early.

First released in the summer of 2016, Human: Fall Flat is a puzzle platformer developed by Tomas Sakalauskas and released by Curve Digital, with single-player and multiplayer modes available. It was initially exclusive to PC, Mac, and Linux, but has since been ported to every other relevant platform including mobile devices. Lacking a proper story but boasting a simplistic, Play-Doh-esque art style, the game is level-based, with players controlling Bob as he solves a multitude of open-ended puzzles in order to progress. Although Bob is presented as a plain everyman, many costumes and colors can be unlocked to customize him to one's liking. Despite mixed reception at launch, the game broke 30 million in sales over the next five years, and has been cited as inspiration for other games in its genre.

According to the ESRB, a new edition of the game, titled Human: Fall Flat The Dreams Collection, is in the works, with a currently unknown release date. While the brief summary only describes the gameplay of the original and makes no mention of any new content, the new release has been rated E for Everyone, albeit with no content descriptors.

Seeing how various free updates to the game have added new levels and achievements over the years, it is possible that this could just be a definitive edition including all the DLC for a similar price as the original release, in a similar to vein to Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition. Such a concept is not exactly unheard of in today's games industry, with pretty much every bestselling AAA game getting a convenient rerelease as early as a year afterward. Sometimes a game without DLC might even get a rerelease with completely new content.

This wouldn't be the first time a new game, or a rerelease of an existing game, has been implicitly announced due to a rating site, let alone followed by extended radio silence. Fans are still waiting for updates on the port of Batman: Arkham Collection to the Nintendo Switch, although several other leaked ports to the console hybrid have turned out to be the real deal. Only time will tell how long the gap between this leak and the official announcement will be.
