How to Play with a Controller

Warzone Mobile has controller support, which is definitely an advantage. Not all gamers are used to playing on a touch screen, especially on smartphones with a small display. Unfortunately, there are not many controllers that are compatible with the game, and most of them require a Bluetooth connection. Among these controllers are the following:

PS5 DualSense Wireless Controllers
PS4 DualShock 4 Controller
Xbox Wireless Controllers
Xbox Elite Wireless Controllers

So, if you own a latest-generation console such as a PlayStation or Xbox, you have everything you need for wireless gaming. If you don't have any consoles but still want to play on a controller, you can use an alternative: mobile controllers that are designed for such purposes. Some of them can be connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth, while others are wired, depending on the model. Here's a list of the best mobile controllers you can use:

How to Connect a Controller

Wired mobile controllers are easy to use, as you just need to plug the cord into your device to make them work. On the other hand, wireless controllers can be tricky. To help you figure it out, we've prepared short instructions on how to connect controllers to your smartphone.

PlayStation Controller

The instructions are identical for both DualSense and DualShock:

Take the controller and press the create/share button and PS Logo button simultaneously to enable pairing.
Turn on Bluetooth on your device and see the available devices you can connect to.
If you have previously connected the controller to your smartphone, the controller should appear in the My Devices section. If not, it should be in the Other Devices section.
Once you find your DualSense or DualShock among the available devices, interact with its name in the Bluetooth settings and wait for your smartphone to synchronize with the controller.

After synchronization, the controller will be connected. To verify this, try to launch the game and play.

Xbox Controller

Take the controller and hold the pairing button for 3 seconds.
Open Bluetooth on your phone and turn it on.
In the Bluetooth menu, view the available devices. The Xbox Wireless Controller should be among them.
Select Xbox Wireless Controller to connect and synchronize the devices.

Once you've done that, launch the game and press any button on the controller. You should see the "Controller Connected" notification, which means you've done everything right.
