Gliding plays a big part in Enshrouded's traversal, especially since there's plenty of verticality in Embervale. While the first two gliders you get in the game are serviceable, you'll want to get the best one there is if you're looking for maximum speed and convenience.

Players will need nails to craft various items in Enshrouded. Here’s how to get them.

The Ghost Glider is the best glider in Enshrouded so far. It completely trumps the other two in terms of stats, but getting it isn't as easy. If you want to get your hands on this glider, then you had best be ready for a long trip to the desert.

Enshrouded Ghost Glider Location

One Ghost Glider always spawns in a golden chest at the top of the Sun Temple, a large POI located in the Kindlewastes far to the east of the Cinder Vault. The Sun Temple is a Lv 30 area, and the abandoned town right in front of it is home to Lv 30 Scavengers who will rip apart anyone who isn't strong enough to face them, and the temple itself houses Lv 30 undead as well as plenty of traps.

Luckily, you won't need to do any fighting to get the Ghost Glider. As it happens, you don't even need to enter the temple itself. Given how the Ghost Glider is at the very top of the Sun Temple, you can easily reach it from the outside by jumping and gliding off the top of the canyon to the west. You'll need to be creative with your pickaxe if you want to reach the top of the canyon — either dig a path upward or smack the cliff face to make small pockets that you can stand and jump on. The Double Jump skill is also going to be invaluable for climbing up here.

The Ghost Glider's stats in Enshrouded

Once you do reach the top, just glide toward the Sun Temple's roof, open the golden chest, then claim your Ghost Glider. Be careful not to land at the very top of the tower so as not to disturb the big, hostile bird nesting there.

The Ghost Glider is leagues better than the first glider you can make, offering over double the range and speed while still consuming only 4 Stamina per second. While it won't let you fly outright, this glider will still let you get to areas that are otherwise unreachable with its lesser counterparts. The one you get from the chest will serve you well throughout the rest of your playthrough, but if you ever find yourself needing another Ghost Glider, you can always craft another one.
