How To Get Ghost Yarn in V Rising
Players can farm Ghost Yarn by going to specific locations or craft it to avoid the hassle and grind.
Ghost Yarn Farming Locations
Ghost Yarn is only available in select places like The Cursed Forest. Players must head north to make their way to The Cursed Forest.
After arriving at The Cursed Forest, players must look for Ancient Villages. There are two major Ancient Villages in The Cursed Forest:
- An Ancient Village located east of The Cursed Forest.
- An Ancient Village located west of The Cursed Forest.
Players can comb through these Ancient Villages to find Ghost Yarn; this involves killing enemies and looting chests to get as much Ghost Yarn as possible. Players can alternate between both major Ancient Villages for items to respawn.
The chances of Ghost Yarn drops are not great, but if the player continues raiding Ancient Villages, they should be able to collect enough Ghost Yarn.
Crafting Ghost Yarn
Farming Ghost Yarn can become quite a hassle, so players can opt to craft it instead. Before players can craft Ghost Yarn, they will need to get the Ghost Yarn recipe by following these steps:
- Head to the center of The Cursed Forest.
- Head into the Spider Cave.
- Locate and Defeat Ungora, the Spider Queen.
After defeating Ungora, the Spider Queen, the player will be rewarded with the Ghost Yarn recipe.
Ungora the Spider Queen is a level 60 boss, so the player must have the right gear to stand a chance.
If the player does not have a Loom or the Cotton Yarn recipe, they must defeat Beatrice the Tailor in Dawnbreak Village. Once Beatrice the Tailor is defeated, players can build a Loom in their castle.
With a Loom and Ghost Yarn recipe, players can start crafting Ghost Yarn by gathering the following supplies:
- Four Cotton Yarn
- Eight Ghost Shrooms
