There tend to be three types of players in The Sims 4: stylists, builders, and storytellers. Generation One: Hippie

The first aesthetic of the challenge is the hippie style. This unique style can be easily recreated in The Sims 4 with long hairstyles, brightly patterned clothing, and colored rimless glasses. This Sim had strict parents growing up. The Hippie moved to Evergreen Harbor when they were old enough to fully embrace their free-spirited lifestyle.

Along with completing the requirements for the Sim's aspiration and career, players must also maximize their fabrication skill from Eco Lifestyle and the wellness skill from the Spa Day pack. Additionally, this Sim should have at least two romantic relationships prior to getting married.

Generation Two: Indie Grunge

Even with a parent as free-spirited and loving as can be, the Indie Grunge Sim felt lonely and misunderstood. To cope with these feelings, this Sim pours their heart into music. They write songs on the piano and guitar as an outlet and, of course, as a way to make money. If players wish for this Sim to get married, their partner must share two traits with them.

In Create-A-Sim, build outfits with darker colors and an alternative style. Players may choose to wear band T-shirts, flannels, or leather jackets. Items that give off a thrifted vibe are especially fitting for this aesthetic.

Generation Three: Y2K

The Y2K Sim isn't quite sure where they fit into life, and struggles a lot with decision-making. Unfortunately, their problems followed them in the year 2000. First, they wanted to become a mixologist, but quit after reaching level three. Their true success came in their entertainment career as a comedian.

The fashion style of this generation of the legacy challenge is characterized by low-rise skirts and jeans, frosted tips, and bright futuristic colors. Much like the previous generation, the rules for marriage partners are strict. This Sim may only romance and marry a Sim if they match the same exact traits.

Generation Four: Butterfly Girl

This "go with the flow" Sim loves the outdoors. Every chance that she gets, the Butterfly Girl Sim travels with her spouse and three kids on outdoor retreats to Granite Falls. They have family picnics every Saturday. She completes the insect collection in no time, coveting her favorite finds: the Jezebel, Monarch, and Blue Morpho butterflies.

When she's not outside collecting insects, she can often be found growing flowers in the garden and creating beautiful flower arrangements. Dress this Sim and her household in bright colors, butterfly patterns, and flower arrangements made by the Butterfly Girl herself.

Generation Five: Kawaii Streamer

If only the Kawaii Streamer weren't so shy and awkward, they would easily be the most likable Sim in town. Characterized by their love for video games, anime, and boba, this Sim teaches themself how to live stream for hours after school. Talking to people doesn't come easily, but they feel like their followers are their friends.

Although streaming is fun, this Sim went to university to become a tech guru based on their love of technology. They make it to level three of their career. Regrettably, they didn't find love in their professional life, but it is where they encountered their future spouse. This Sim happily quits their job to stream full-time.

Generation Six: Lovecore

Sims matching the Love Core aesthetic are softies that love everything about love: dressing up in formal wear, going on dates, and admiring their appearance. Valentine's Day is their Christmas. They're constantly chasing the thrill of feeling butterflies in their stomach.

First, the Love Core Sim learns to love themself. They are dedicated to developing their writing skills with dreams of becoming a successful a romance author. They aspire to write bestselling books to fill Sims' Book Nooks. Some days, it seems like no one will love the Love Core Sim as much as they love themself. That is, until they meet their soulmate at the dog park.

Generation Seven: Artsy

The Artsy Sim embraces their love of art and nature. They are a big part of DIY culture and create designs for their clothing. Players of The Sims 4 can express this passion for art and fashion by creating and selling outfits on Trendi. This, of course, will help with their entrepreneurial skill, which should be maximized by the end of the generation.

Art is more than just a hobby to this Sim, it's a lifestyle. They even name their children after their favorite artists. Other Sims often perceive the Artsy Sim as erratic and unpredictable. Creating things helps them feel at ease and fills them with purpose. This Sim should complete at least five masterpieces throughout their life. For individuals seeking to make one-of-a-kind paintings, the Paint it Up mod can prove useful.

Generation Eight: Vintage

As a child, this Sim with a Vintage style always wanted to run a restaurant. They played pretend with their friends and family by taking their orders and helping out in the kitchen. Players can recreate vintage aesthetics with the Vintage Glamour Stuff Pack, as well as base game clothing and furniture.

Over time, this Sim perfected their recipes, reached level 10 of both Cooking and Gourmet Cooking skills, and operated a five-star restaurant. The Vintage Sim is a doting parent who loves their child dearly and indulges them with everything they desire in life.

Generation Nine: Diva Core

This Sim's upbringing as a spoiled child has led to them becoming the ultimate diva. Similar to their Love Core predecessor, the Diva Core Sim has a strong affection for themselves, perhaps to an excessive degree. They have landed a job as a famous Simfluencer, which requires minimal effort but covers their bills.

The Diva Core Sim unintentionally ended up with children, but they were unwilling to take on the responsibility of raising them. As a result, they decided to send the children to their grandparents, the Vintage Sims. The only person the Diva Core wants to hang out with is their high-maintenance best friend.

Generation Ten: Old Money

The Old Money generation is all about rounding the legacy challenge up. This Sim was spoiled by their Vintage Sim grandparents and, much like their Diva Core parents, they became obsessed with money and power. Fortunately, they decided to work hard to get what they wanted out of life. They frequently take trips to the mountains with their family and go skiing and snowboarding to show off their wealth and skills.

This final generation should move into the first generation's Hippie-styled home and renovate it to reflect their personal aesthetic. To give off an Old Money vibe, players can incorporate antiques and ornate furniture, along with luxurious amenities such as large swimming pools and exquisite chandeliers.
