Kerry was Johnny’s best friend and was an essential part of the band. Cyberpunk 2077 dedicates an entire mission to Kerry, which can lead to a potential romance if you play your cards right. Keeping this in mind, this guide will cover everything there is to know about the gig along with other useful information.

You will need to complete some requirements before you can start the Off the Leash quest, which are as follows:

Complete the “I Don’t Wanna Hear It” gig.
During the “I Don’t Wanna Hear It” gig, ensure the agreement between Kerry and US Cracks takes place.

If the agreement does not go through, you will need to be able to unlock the “Off the Leash,” “Every Breath You Take”, and “Boat Drinks” gigs.

After completing “I Don’t Wanna Hear It” by meeting the requirements, you can start “Off the Leash.” To complete the gig, follow these steps:

Wait 12 in-game hours after getting an invitation from Kerry to meet him at a club in the Westbrook District.
Kerry will call you again with the location, you will need to get to the Charter Hill Club.
Get to the back of the club and talk to the guard. Select the dialogue option regarding meeting with Kerry on the 35th floor lounge.
After getting to the lounge, you must wait for Kerry.
Kerry will appear on the stage with the US Cracks to put on a show.
While you make your way to Kerry, a journalist will start asking you questions. Choose any dialogue option since it does not affect the outcome of the gig.
Follow Kerry and meet the ripperdoc he introduces you to. After meeting the ripperdoc, you will get a discount from all ripperdocs in Night City.
Head to the roof with Kerry and savor the view as he talks about his goals and dreams.
If you are a male V, choose the “You can tell me” dialogue option to conclude the conversation with a kiss. However, if you select the “Little too heavy for me right now” dialogue option, you will end the gig without romancing Kerry.
