Scott Lang and the Pym/van Dyne are back once again in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. The movie Is Paul Rudd’s third solo outing as the shrinking hero, and marks a real departure from the series’ previous stories. This time, Scott, Hope, Hank Pym, Janet van Dyne, and Scott’s daughter Cassie are pulled down into the Quantum Realm, where they must deal with strange creatures, unknown dangers, and a foreboding villain: Kang the Conqueror.

Quantumania is an important entry in the MCU as it marks the beginning of Phase 5. It's the first step toward the Avengers facing the Kang Dynasty, and it shows just how much the general public have turned the heroes of the world into celebrities. Of course, as with every Marvel project, audiences may be wondering what comes after the credits, but does Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania have a post-credits scene?

While it may not reach the heights of the multiple post-credits scenes featured in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania does have two post-credits scenes. One of these hits the standard Marvel timing of appearing right after the main credits and title reveal, while the other appears at the very end of the credits. Both scenes are significant teasers that hint at the future of Marvel's newest villain. These post-credits scenes are likely to pay off later, so for anyone curious, keep reading to find out what happens in each post-credits scene.

From here on out, this article reveals spoilers for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantmania's post-credits scenes.

What is the First Post Credits Scene About?

After the main credits and title reveal, audiences are given a look at a massive Kang statue towering over what appears to be a huge coliseum. It is here that Quantumania offers the first look at additional Kang variants, including one who is modeled after Immortus and another who resembles Pharoah Rama-Tut (who may have appeared in an easter egg in Moon Knight episode 3).

The Kang variants discuss the fall of the Conqueror, who was pulled into his ship's engine at the end of the movie (but may not truly be dead). It appears that with the exiled Kang variant now gone, the rest of the Kangs could be vying for his position. "How many did you call?" Rama-Tut asks Immortus. "All of them," Immortus replies, before the shot expands to show hundreds, maybe even thousands of Kang variants in the audience. Some of them appear human, some appear to be of other alien species, but this Kang Dynasty is likely to be trouble for the Avengers.

What is the Second Post Credits Scene About?

Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania Jonathan Majors Kang Tom Hiddleston Loki

The second post-credits scene, which arrives after the final credits roll, reveals yet another Kang identity: Victor Timely. Here, Timely is dressed in late nineteenth or early twentieth-century clothing and giving some kind of presentation on a machine to an audience of similarly dressed people. He refers back to time being a cage, something Kang tells Janet earlier in the movie.

It's not what Timely says that is important, but rather who is hearing him say it: it is revealed that none other than Tom Hiddleston's Loki and Owen Wilson's Morbius are in the audience (which may partially explain why Loki did not appear in the Thor: Love and Thunder post-credits scene). Loki says "that's him," and looks afraid. Morbius doesn't quite understand Loki's fear, saying that he thought this guy was a bigger threat. Loki confirms that he is, and the screen cuts to black, promising that Kang the Conqueror will return.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is now playing in theaters.
