Assassin's Creed Valhalla provides players a massive campaign that is filled with places to see, characters to speak with and fight, and quests to complete. The game's campaign can take anywhere from 60-80 hours to finish, depending on how deeply players wish to dive into life as Eivor. Wrath of the Druids is the game's first DLC, adding another slice of content for players to enjoy.

For players who have finished Assassin's Creed Valhalla and are looking to dive into the DLC with some idea as to how long it takes to finish, then there are once again a number of factors to consider. First is the difficulty that they wish to play it at. The higher the difficulty setting, the longer it will take most players to finish any game. Difficulty can also be changed as the campaign goes on, so if players come to a portion of the game that they find very tough, they can simply lower the difficulty for a while.

After that, players should consider how many of the DLCs secret, treasures, and other hidden locations they will want to track down. It is entirely possible to spend dozens of hours exploring the game's new Irish map without making any notable story progress if players wish. Finally, the DLC's four separate areas, Dublin, Meath, Connacht, and Ulster, will all contain side quests called Royal Demands that players can complete if they wish. Players can even hunt down and fight dangerous Vikings in the Thorgest's Drengir quest.

All in all, the DLC should provide 10-14 hours of entertainment, depending on all the factors listed above. A great way to spend some of that time is tracking down the Books of Knowledge that can be found in the Wrath of the Druid's DLC. These books will give players access to the Smoke Bomb Arrow, Irish Wolfhound, and Viking Salute abilities.

Another time-consuming activity will be attempting to track down all the artifact locations in Dublin, and the game's other areas. The exact length of time spend in the DLC will vary from player to player, especially when it comes to tracking down the many collectibles that can be found through the game. Players with little interest in anything other than main story missions will only spend about half as long with the new content as players who wish to track down all the secrets and treasures that can be found in the Wrath of the Druids DLC.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
