Olivia's words are significant as the Crain siblings all grew up absolutely terrified of the gorgeous yet terrible mansion where they spent their early years. They saw more death and pain than anyone should ever experience and have such awful memories as a result. Nell's Bent-Neck Lady character is scary and Nell also says some of the wisest things from the miniseries as she knows that no one can really get past this kind of trauma.
