Horizon Forbidden West is an adventurous role-playing game that consists of multiple challenging quests that engage players with different quests at different levels. The player plays the game as Aloy, the protagonist of the game, who is saddled with saving the world from extinction by a gigantic electrical robot. 7 Fire Hunter Bow

The Fire Hunter Bow is an uncommon type of bow in the weapon arsenal of the game. It is one of the hunter skill tree build and can be bought from merchants such as hunters in Hunting Grounds: The Daunt and Chainscrape.

It comes in handy when battling machines at mid-range and has the ability to unleash two types of damage on the enemy due to its dual ammo type, the acid detonator, and the fire detonator. The player may decide which one of these to activate depending on which can unleash the most excruciating pain on the type of enemy being battled.

6 Slicing Shredder Gauntlet

The shredder’s unique trait is its tear element which allows the slicing of enemies in combat. It is thrown at the enemy while the player catches it after each throw to make another heavy throw in order to achieve high-impact damage. This build is a ‘use-on-the-spot’ weapon because it explodes after the fourth throw.

The Slicing Shredder is an important build in the survivor skills tree weapon due to its rarity. It can be bought from merchants in Plainsong, Barren Light, Hunting Grounds: Sheerside Mountains, and around LATOPOLIS in the early levels of the game. It rips vital parts of the machines' bodies away, leaving them open to attacks.

5 Cleaving Sharpshot Bow

The Cleaving Sharp Shot Bow is earned after completing the Broken Sky Quest in which the player journeys to the center of the earth in search of a lost function. It is a ranged weapon that can be fired from a long distance. Although it is slow to draw, it can inflict excruciating damage by dismembering the enemy parts and ammunitions to render them vulnerable.

This build is the swiftest among other builds of this type. When drawn at full length, deals the most tear and damage on the enemy.

4 Death Seekers Shadow

This is a bow given to death seekers before they leave the sacred land of Nova. It is one of the builds in the arsenal of the Hunter skills tree. Its accuracy depends on the range from which it is fired and is most effective from a mid-range distance of the enemy.

The ammo types for this build are the targeting hunter arrow, the advanced hunter arrow, and the shock hunter arrow. These arrows unleash both impact and shock damage depending on the player's preference.

3 Corrosive Blastsling

This weapon has the ability to cause blasts and explosions, and it can be purchased from Hunters located in the Scalding Spear and close to the Base. The explosions and blasts that are caused by this weapon spread over a vast region in the game, leaving blast leftovers in the location where the explosion took place.

The players get to experiment with different ammo types of the weapon, named the acid bomb, purge water bomb, and adhesive bomb. When employed together, these three elements result in three different kinds of elemental damage.

2 Swift Warrior Bow

The Swift warrior Bow can be purchased from hunters in Barren Light. It is a ranged weapon that can be used within a short range. It exacts maximum damage when fired in mid-air within a close range.

While there are numerous options of melee, ranged, and health renewal builds in the game, the player has to complete quests and purchase from merchants in order to gain access to them. It is also important that the players equip themselves with as many builds as possible to avoid falling prey to the enemy.

1 The Explosive Tripcaster

This is one of the builds that may be selected from the trapper skills tree. They are put to use in the process of setting shock wires, which, upon initial contact, cause explosions. They are put on the ground in such a way that the enemy must walk through them in order to cause explosives.

It is possible to acquire them on the hunting grounds of Barren Lights, and they are detected in the earlier levels of the game. The explosive trip caster can also be gotten from the Hunting Grounds: The Daunt.
