Its final size should be around 15 GB in the US, with players in Japan needing 14.921 GB for the game. As revealed in one of the replies to the post, Burning Shores will take up almost double the space when compared to The Frozen Wilds DLC for Horizon Zero Dawn. The Frozen Wilds was priced at $19.99, and it offered around 7-8 hours of main story content. As the Burning Shores DLC is also priced at $19.99, perhaps it too will feature a similarly long story, with additional side content for players to experience.

Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores will be available at midnight local time on April 19, with users running on Pacific Daylight Time getting access at 21:00 on April 18. Pre-load for this DLC should be live exactly 48 hours before its launch, so at midnight local time on April 17. Additionally, gamers who pre-order the Burning Shores DLC will receive the Blacktide Dye Outfit and Blacktide Sharpshot Bow as bonuses.

Fans should note that they are required to complete the main story of Horizon Forbidden West to access the new content. Horizon Forbidden West is packed with content, but its main story is not too long, especially when compared to other open-world games like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

Sony is currently offering Horizon Forbidden West as a part of PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium. Subscribers in either of these tiers can play Horizon Forbidden West at no extra cost, allowing them to complete the main game before the Burning Shores DLC comes out in just a few days.

Horizon Forbidden West is available now on PS4 and PS5.
