Not all Outfits in Horizon Forbidden West are created equal, and players that want to maximize Aloy's efficacy in combat must equip her with the game's best armor. While a case could be made for bestowing that title upon several Outfits, there are two that really rise above the rest. Those two Outfits are the Oseram Artificer and Nora Thunder Warrior armors, and this guide will help Horizon Forbidden West fans obtain both of them.
Horizon Forbidden West: How to Get Oseram Artificer Legendary Outfit
The Oseram Artificer Legendary Outfit is arguably the best armor in Horizon Forbidden West, and players that want to claim it should begin by heading to Keruf's Salvage Camp just southwest of Barren Light. At this location, fans can initiate a contract called Keruf's Salvage Unlimited, which centers around completing additional contracts for four salvagers. One of those salvagers can be found in the camp with Keruf, and his position, along with the positions of the other three salvagers, have been marked on the map that is below.
After completing the Contracts for all four of these salvagers, players will be instructed to talk to Keruf once again. The Oseram Artificer Legendary armor will be awarded at the conclusion of that conversation, and fans will not be disappointed with what it brings to the table. Notably, coupling this Outfit with the Overshield Valor Surge from the Survivor skill tree in Horizon Forbidden West can be very powerful, and it is a combination that players should certainly consider trying out.
Horizon Forbidden West: How to Get Nora Thunder Warrior Legendary Outfit
For those players that only use ranged attacks, the Nora Thunder Warrior armor may have a slight edge over the Oseram Artificer, and it is obtained through the Arena. For the uninitiated, the Arena is unlocked by completing a quest called Opening the Arena, which becomes available after the Kulrut main story mission in Horizon Forbidden West has been finished. The precise position of the Arena has been marked on the following map, and the quest giver can be found at that location.
Once the Arena has opened, players must complete challenges in it to accrue Arena Medals. With 54 Arena Medals earned, fans can speak with the Arena's Prize Master, Dukkah, and purchase the Nora Thunder Warrior armor directly. Dukkah also has two other Legendary Outfits on offer, as well as Horizon Forbidden West's best Hunter Bow, which may be of interest to fans with very specific playstyles.
