Honkai: Star Rail reveals several quality-of-life features and system optimizations that will be released in version 2.0. Last week, Honkai: Star Rail hosted a special program for update 2.0, confirming that the upcoming banner lineup features Black Swan, Sparkle, Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae, and Jing Yuan. It was revealed that players will get 300 Stellar Jades as compensation for the server maintenance.

Honkai: Star Rail receives constant updates that feature not only characters and events but also quality-of-life changes that make playing the game smoother. For example, version 1.3 increased the maximum amount of Trailblaze power, while 1.6 added the auto-clear function for previous Memory of Chaos stages. Besides quality-of-life changes, every Honkai: Star Rail update introduces optimizations to make the player's life easier.

As revealed by HoYoverse, Honkai: Star Rail version 2.0 will introduce several optimizations to the game's relic system, including the option to mark these items with the Discard mark. Players will be able to filter relics based on their state, and a new Enhancement cap option to the Auto-Add's insertion rules will be added. Moreover, the upcoming version will feature the exclusion filtering feature, which players can use for secondary attributes.

Previously, Honkai: Star Rail has confirmed that version 2.0 will give away 20 pulls that players can use to unlock new characters. One of the upcoming events, The Fateful Crossings: Hanu’s Prison Break, will offer a free four-star character, between Yukong, Asta, Guinaifen, and Sampo.

Recent leaks regarding Honkai: Star Rail version 2.0 have indicated that there will be several new gameplay mechanics that can be used against Penacony-based enemies like mecha dinosaurs and TV-shaped robotics. One such mechanic is allegedly the Mutation: Combo Blast players can trigger to regenerate energy. In addition to combat mechanics, version 2.0 will add a number of four-star Light Cones to the Manifest Store, which Trailblazers can obtain by consuming Lucent Afterglows. Some of these weapons increase the character's base ATK reasonably, while others provide temporary buffs like effect resistance and HP restoration. One last thing to note is that none of these leaks have been confirmed yet.

The fourth entry in HoYoverse's Honkai franchise, Honkai: Star Rail is a free-to-play sci-fi RPG.
