Honkai: Star Rail fans believe that a character from Penacony might be joining the Astral Express crew. Penacony is Honkai: Star Rail's newest world with a European-inspired design, which is expected to debut in Version 2.0.

The Astral Express is the main setting of Honkai: Star Rail, as it's the intergalactic train that transports the Trailblazer to various worlds within the cosmos. This is also where the main protagonist, along with March 7th, Dan Heng, Welt, Himeko, and Pom-Pom hang out when they don't have missions to accomplish. Sometimes, random Honkai: Star Rail characters also visit the Astral Express to watch the stars.

Recent Honkai: Star Rail leaks are teasing the gameplay for rumored character Jiaoqiu, rumored to be releasing during Penacony's cycle.

With the release of Penacony in Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.0, the Trailblazers will not only explore a new world, but also meet new characters. One of them is future four-star character Misha, a bellboy in the Reverie Hotel who dreams of becoming an intergalactic adventurer. That being said, Honkai: Star Rail fans believe that Misha will permanently join the Astral Express because his "Letter of Invitation" photo shows him receiving the gold badge that the rest of the crew has. Reddit user Aki008035 also pointed this out, along with photos of the Astral Express crew wearing said badge.

In the comments, Honkai: Star Rail fans were quick to point out that Welt was giving the badge to Misha, which could be a formal invitation to hop on the Astral Express. Others also shared their own theories, with one surmising that Welt was just giving him an old badge to remember his grandfather, who was allegedly a Trailblazer aboard the old Astral Express.

The old Astral Express crash-landed onto an unnamed planet before the events of Honkai: Star Rail . Himeko was the one who discovered the wreckage and repaired the train.

While the theories haven't been confirmed, many Honkai: Star Rail fans are already excited about seeing Misha's room on the Astral Express if he joins. However, others expressed that it would be weird if Misha would get a room before the main protagonist, who still sleeps on the train's couch. Players have been asking for a customizable room in Honkai: Star Rail similar to Genshin Impact's housing system, but HoYoverse hasn't introduced the feature yet.

The Penacony arc won't be for another month or more, so players still have time to go through Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.6's events and farm Stellar Jades to pull for Version 2.0's banner characters.
